On October 22, 2025, Princess Benedikte of Denmark attended the inauguration of the Parasport Denmark Hall of Fame at the House of Sports (Idrættens Hus) in Brøndby. The Princess was welcomed by John Petersson, Chairman of Parasport Denmark, and Ivan Lønstrup, its Director. After a welcome speech by the Chair, Her Royal Highness unveiled the two new portraits of Karl Vilhelm Nielsen and Lisa Kjær Gjessing.
Karl Vilhelm Nielsen and Lisa Kjær Gjessing are the first two inductees into the Parasport Denmark Hall of Fame, honored for their outstanding contributions to parasport. The inauguration also featured presentations by Politiken sports editor Christian Heide-Jørgensen and author, poet, and disability rights activist Caspar Eric. Princess Benedikte has served as Patron of Parasport Denmark since 1981.
The beautiful lady always makes a beautiful and classy statement with her outfits (and smile). I really enjoy seeing the photos from her appearances. Just wonderful!

ردحذفThis is a beautifully put together ensemble. The purple jacket and skirt look marvelous with the grey top. The grey bag is a clever choice, offsetting the top well. Her pearl necklace and lovely brooch are the perfect addition. She always gets it right. Well groomed, attired and stylish. She is such an elegant woman and Princess.
