A sweet smile, a new baby, but messy, too long hair that smothers her face. I
don‘t understand this look, she has the means to have a hairdresser visit her privately.

    1. I hate too long, messy hair too. It doesn't frame or flatter anyone's face. It's also a lot of work and time consuming to look after.
I prefer shoulder length hair. It's still long but more manageable.
Sorry, to the hair police who patrol this site.

I do not agree that her hair "smothers her face". I can see her entire face. The fact is that some people don't like long hair, be it on a woman after a certain age or anyone. I think we need to stop saying women "should" do anything. If they choose to have long hair, that is their business.

I think it’s probably a cultural thing; having perfected hair in Europe isn’t seen as essential by most. I love her natural look!

The hair is not at its best IMV, however I think 21:46 is right in her explanation.

Check https://www.instagram.com/reel/DPeHZHNDD8Q/… you see there that her hair looks just fine, when it’s not in photos that have been colour edited.

So nice to see these two again. Sofia looks good in her brown/carmel outfit. It is so special how he looks at her in the last picture.

Not quite sure Carl Philip is looking at Sofia in that picture. I like her outfit with its nice blend of colors; her wild hair needs some taming though. ~~Ruthie

M, I think he is looking at her too. Noone else is around her and I have seen him look at her like that MANY times in the past. I also do not think her hair needs any "taming." It is natural and pretty.

I like her shoes, colour and heel height. I don’t think the 2 tone hair is her best look, imo it ages her. I much prefer her dark colour.

Yes the shoes are lovely. Very practical colour too for autumn / winter. I think many wise women don't use hairdye during pregnancy, so I give them all credit for being new mums and simply getting out of the house, royal or not!

Not sure what a "torny hair" is, but most definitely our hair is our hair, and no one else gets to say what we need to do with our hair! Unless we are still juniors living at home and Mom or Dad says we have to!!

Rude, 20:03. You mean, it's not to your taste. Having lived in Sweden for 10 years, I'll happily say that the Swedes don't aim for perfection. Lovely focus on the people, not perfecting them.

I'm guessing, given that she has the means to have a hairdresser when she needs, but is busy being a mom, that she's happy with her hair as is. So "much better" probably isn't what she sees, but what you see...

CP and Sofia are such a good-looking couple! Sofia looks quite nice here even though it is rather hard to see exactly what she wearing. I do agree with other posters about her hair in terms of the color which appears to be growing out--perhaps a trim would help too. I wear my hair long and really don't think about getting a haircut since I have no real style to keep up. I usually notice my ends are starting to look a bit too dry which means they look scraggly and unkempt. Sofia has 4 young children and I feel like her hair is not a major priority for her right now. She still looks beautiful and nicely turned out.

Sofia’s hair is looking pretty rough in terms of the color and texture. I know she has 4 children, including a baby, so I do have sympathy that hair care likely hasn’t been her top priority - but I think it’s time to see the hairdresser.

Nice to see them at an event together. Like the skirt, not her hairstyle or color she has had a nice hairdo in the past. The statue is very nice.

I wish she let go of the blonde colour it never suited her in my opinion. Brown on the other hand suited her a lot better. I don’t have a problem with long hair, however her hair seems to be ruined possibly because of colouring it blonde. At least I’m glad her bangs are mostly gone it never suited her either. I wonder if she sees a hairstylist regularly or not. Because her hair often looks like she styles it herself. Anyway she has such a nice face and she looks healthy and happy. Larina

- Dorothe -
