On Thursday, October 16, 2025, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended an evening service at Oslo Cathedral, held in connection with the Church of Norway’s apology to LGBTQ+ people. Earlier that day, Preses Olav Fykse Tveit, on behalf of the Bishops’ Conference of the Church of Norway, issued the apology during a press conference at London Pub in Oslo. The service at the cathedral followed this announcement.
Such a gorgeous couple. Princess Mette-Marit really rocks this off white suit and complimenting top. And her hair is beautiful. Probably the best outfit I have seen on this blog in a couple weeks.

So many people these days say “I need to be more right than you” or (so weirdly and so commonly here in comments) “your own opinion is wrong because mine is different”. Therefore I find it ever more beautiful hearing people - but most especially institutions - saying: sorry. Much more peace is much more possible.
