  1. This is a beautiful green pantsuit, the fit is perfect, the color of this pantsuit is sublime, gorgeous shade of green. Her black shoes, perfect choice. Love the brooch, she is wearing him on her jacket. Her emerald and diamond earrings are beautiful, she did wear a emerald ring, this is stunning. I saw a photo elsewhere its really a beauty. Beautifully co ordinated jewels and green pantsuit.

    1. Yes, wide legged trousers should be just above the ground.

  3. A beautiful colour of suit on Mary, and I love the V-neck blouse or shirt she has worn underneath. The trousers are flared, but not as much as the current trend, and they look good on her.

  6. I like the pantsuit of that colour, looks well on Mary. BTW is the president unmarried that even in official relations he's alone? Sometimes on these occassions there is a daughter or even a daughter-in-law accompanying.

    1. He is the world's first openly gay president and he is very popular among Latvians.
I love Mary's suit, wonderful color, the pants are just the right length and not having too much jewelry.

  7. I like queen Mary‘s assorted jewellery, in particular the brooch, it gives her this special touch that is lost when certain royals think they must be overly approachable.

    1. This is your (certainly fictive and not very kind) interpretation. Some royal women simply don't like jewelry and that's all. Besides - the essence and aim of royalty is not that they have to be approachable.

    2. 17:40! I find that really stunning that you have interpreted Virginia’s jewellery opinion as unkind! Unkind is a harsh criticism for what is, after all, her opinion on wearing a brooch.,

  8. The pantsuit is beautiful and the green colour is lovely. I only wish the top inside was a bit higher in the neckline. You can't see it that well so it doesn't add anything to the outfit. It's also a bit too revealing for a royal. I'm conservative when it comes to those things.

  10. Dear No Name 13.44, My remarks are certainly not fictive as far as the royal houses of Europe are concerned. I have read numerous serious books on royalty and know perfectly well what I am saying and why.
