On October 17, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, and Prince Carl Philip hosted the 2025 Sweden Dinner at the Royal Palace to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to Sweden at the local, regional, and national levels. The Sweden Dinner (Sverigemiddag) is a formal event introduced in 2013 to mark the King’s 40th anniversary on the throne.
Guests invited to the Sweden Dinner included representatives from Sweden’s 21 counties — from the fields of culture, business, healthcare, education, sports, and community life — as well as the county governors. Approximately 180 guests were received and welcomed by the King and Queen, together with Prince Carl Philip, in Lovisa Ulrika’s Dining Room in the Bernadotte Apartments at the Royal Palace.
All three look very nicely dressed. The king in particular tux fits perfectly

Not bored! - but I too miss our normal spoiling by having multiple Swedish royals together at such scenes. Always such a treat for us to see!

ردحذفI read somewhere that the dressmakers know and are aware of the heavy jewelry the royals will use and use a reinforcement in the linen or something of that kind to avoid any damage to the beautiful fabrics.

ردحذفC'est curieux ce châle violet posé sur le poignet et traînant au sol, il serait plus beau sur les épaules de la reine et on le verrait mieux.
Ses boucles d'oreilles sont très belles et cette robe met en valeur sa sveltesse.
La femme blonde assise à côté du roi semble avoir une belle robe rouge.
Mais je n'ai pas réussi à trouver d'autres photos.
