On Tuesday, October 28, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden hosted a luncheon at the Royal Palace in Stockholm for the Nordic prime ministers, speakers of parliament, the President of the European Commission, and Nordic politicians, in connection with the 77th Session of the Nordic Council held in Sweden.
The Nordic Council is the official body for cooperation between the Nordic parliaments. The session of the Nordic Council is the Nordic region’s largest political summit, bringing together 87 parliamentarians, heads of government, and ministers from all the Nordic countries each year. The 77th Session of the Nordic Council takes place in Stockholm from October 27 to 30.

ReplyDeleteAnother very beautiful Silvia appearance. I’m noticing that her switch to flat shoes has been done so well that she looks equally great. Loving seeing the different designs of her new shoe wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am loving these cute ballet flats with little ties. Nice shade of tights. Not too shinny or thick looking. Great suit.
DeleteI 've seen her with these shoes in the past when she wore pants. They are not all new, I think. We must not forget Queen Silvia is not young anymore, but when she was young this shoe model was fashion too.
DeleteGotta love the king side-eyeing von der Leyen. That face says more than a thousand words, and I couldn´t agree more with it.
ReplyDeleteLove the vibrant pink suit. The shoes are a bit sad. Has Queen Silvia had further foot problems? No one expects Queen Mary or Maxima height stilettos but even a low heel would have helped.
ReplyDeleteQueen Sylvia had foot surgery lately, that is why she is wearing flats.

DeleteThis fuchsia two piece suit looks beautiful, Her suits always fit well and this one is no exception. Very smart, stylish and elegant.
ReplyDeleteMy Queen is beautiful as ever. She can really wear these strong colors.
ReplyDeleteGreat look for the Queen. No more heels I see she looks good in flats.
