On September 6, 2025, the Princess of Wales attended the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Pool A match between England and Australia at the Brighton & Hove Albion Stadium in Brighton. The game was the final match of the group stage of the Women’s Rugby World Cup, with England sitting at the top of the leaderboard and Australia in second place. The Princess of Wales is Patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU).

The RF are all in mourning with the loss of the Duchess of Kent. William was also in dark suit black tie at the Wales game. Catherine looks lovely here. Perfect AMcQ black jacket, beautiful crisps white cascading ruffle blouce. Hair neatly up . One of her nicer looks I think.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
Very nice suit. I like that the jacket has fullness in the back making her thinness not as noticeable. Her hair in half up is very becoming. Clearly something has changed from the last posting, perhaps we were correct it was a hair piece since the texture today is very different.
ReplyDeleteAgree about the hair!
DeleteShe wasn't wearing a hairpiece. She colored her hair and it was styled to look fuller. With the right styling products and tools, it is not difficult to give hair more body. She had done this many times over the years. She has an abundance of hair. What possible reason would there be for her to wear a wig?
DeleteOh, what an informed and true comment you made, @ Anonymous 14:18!
DeleteThat's exactly the case with P. Catherine.
There's plenty of high quality tools and specific products available on the international markets to add volume to a woman's hair.
I can't deny that they are pricey most of the time but Catherine surely can afford them.
Catherine’s hairstyle here is lovely. The outfit is somber, but I assume that is due to court mourning following the Duchess of Kent’s death and is appropriate.

Sun Kissed Brunette. hair looks different in the shade.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful suit. i suppose trousers and jacket are the norm now, with maxi dresses reserved for Church and Wimbledon.
Given the restrictions of royal mourning, this is a perfect outfit for the Princess with the white blouse relieving the black. And she looks so much better with her hair drawn back from her face. A great look altogether.
ReplyDeleteThere are no restrictions, personal choice to do so. Sophie was not in black.
DeleteTrue re Sophie but she wore darker colours. Queen Camilla was in blue at the Braemar Games but Prince Charles has a dark kilt with dark jacket and tie. It’s a matter of respect.
DeleteIn a word, fabulous, so modern and feminine, super cute haircut, she's back!
ReplyDeleteCatherine looks beautiful and elegant in this black suit--and the white ruffled blouse is the perfect feminine relief for the suit. Love this hairstyle for Catherine--always have as it allows her beautiful face to be seen. Since formal mourning has been declared I believe we will see the royal ladies (men too) wearing dark colors associated with mourning.

Nice suit well fitted. Her hair is very long. Nice to see her again.

Quite a formal blouse for a rugby match.
ReplyDelete@Anon 22:56 She might have decided on this overall formal look (including the suit, not just the blouse) due to dressing in the style of respectful mourning.

Ce chemisier à volants est particulièrement élégant avec le costume noir.
ReplyDeleteJe la préfère coiffée de cette manière, son visage semble plus lumineux avec les cheveux en arrière. Paloma.
To me Catherines hair color looks like she went swimming in a pool with chlorine and her hair had a chemical reaction. The person to follow when wearing your hair lighter is Queen Mary. However I know the cancer could be a factor too. She still looks beautiful with all that she must have gone through!
ReplyDeleteGhis looks great. Her hair like this suits her well. She has such an attractive face and smile
ReplyDeleteBlouse a bit frilly;suit nice. The hair needs an interesting hair clasp.Earrings nice.Would have been nice to see Charlotte there.(Tara)
ReplyDeleteAppropriate outfit, looks dignified and elegant. Fits well. Love the feminine and elegant blouse.
ReplyDeleteWhen I clicked on the 1st picture to make it larger, immediately I noticed the black eyeshadow which was put on too generously.
ReplyDeleteHer beautiful "normal" hair is back!
ReplyDeleteShe looks great.
So much better than the last pictures we saw of her: hai away from her face: what a relief, and the blouse is great!
ReplyDeleteCatherine is brunett again, I so happy!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteYeah yeah
DeleteRavie qu’elle ait presque retrouvé sa couleur de cheveux naturelle !
ReplyDeleteI don't mind whatever colour she has or favours. But hair back and away from her face, no constant fumbling with hair and tucking it away in public - that is excellent.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Princess Catherine!
ReplyDeleteI think she just had her hair dyed with a coloring shampoo in a blonde shade , which may be useful when you want to avoid harsh chemicals or to just wear a different shade temporarily.
Blonde is a hard colour to apply and maintain per se, so well done, Catherine!
You wear again your favourite hair colour.
She looks beautiful and immaculately groomed.
Love the white blouse and its particular interpretation of the lavallier detail.
Yes but I am sure she had a lot of extensions too. The hair was unnaturally voluminous
Delete@ 20:56
DeleteHairdressers use a lot of techniques to add volume to someone who has already a natural abundance of hair without resorting to extensions.
You can google that.
I do not have the time to give you an outline of what I am saying.
Ok, you can think what pleases you the most , of course.
Gotta leave now.
Cheers.

ReplyDeleteI agree. Hair products and styling can give you much fuller hair, people just don’t think maybe because they have never tried them, you should it works wonders. It can double the volume.
