On September 9, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark visited the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. Students, and educators welcomed Her Majesty following an invitation from the faculty and the Queen Mary’s Center. The center was established by the Faculty of Humanities, and Social Sciences of the University of Copenhagen.
During the visit, the Queen was introduced to the faculty’s work on promoting welfare innovation across different sectors of society. Partnerships between researchers and practitioners are the main focus of the Queen Mary’s Center, which was inaugurated in February 2022 to mark the Queen’s 50th birthday.
At the student café HippoCampus, -Queen Mary also met with students working to strengthen social relationships on campus. On this occasion, Queen Mary wore a multi-floral “Crush” blouse by Zimmermann.
It's a stunning blouse but I think the black skirt is too harsh in combination with the blouse
ReplyDeletei agree, a lighter color perhaps
DeleteAgree! They donot match.
DeleteLove the blouse! Stunning outfit!

ReplyDeleteFière allure dans ce chemisier délicatement fleuri porté sur une jupe ample ; bon choix que ses escarpins à bride noirs !
ReplyDeleteMary often suits Zimmerman very well but I think this blouse would suit her better in a darker colour. Still gorgeous of course. Love the sweet look between the girl in the long boots and Mary - but above all love that they’ve called the cafe on a social sciences campus HippoCampus. That’s very funny.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts too about her and the nice young girl!
DeleteLove the blouse and skirt but not together. Perhaps it is too much of a contrast. I am not fond of the heavy brows, so many ladies are following this trend. Her natural brows are dark enough, these just are too much.
ReplyDelete15.52 I agree!
DeleteCette blouse est belle et totalement à mon goût.
ReplyDeleteNéanmoins, je la préfère portée avec sa jupe d’origine, comme sur le mannequin.

I love the blouse but I think the black skirt is too dark for it. Cream, pink or cornflower blue would be lovely. That said, it’s a really flattering outfit on Q. Mary. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteI agree with other commentors that the black skirt is too stark a contrast with the softer colours of the pretty blouse. A lighter coloured skirt would have been better.

I love this blouse. The multi colour floral print, the small button closure, the unusual collar and puff sleeves are a beautiful combination. It could pass for a piece of art that should be cherished. It looks OK with the black skirt but would look fantastic with the exquisite matching skirt. I hope to see Mary wear the skirt on a future occasion. I never heard of Zimmermann before but I imagine both pieces must be on the pricey side.
ReplyDeletePoor blouse, it is so delicate, soft and summery, but in a harsh war with the heavy black skirt.
ReplyDeleteI ❤️ Mary’s slingback shoes
ReplyDeleteI love the design and style of the blouse especially the pearl buttons but not the combination of the unflattering colors! But I still adore and love the Danish Queen of Denmark Mary!!!
ReplyDeleteJoli chemisier raffiné et délicat. J'aime que les fleurs soient discrètes et estompées, presque délavées, comme une aquarelle ou comme ces feuilles de papier parchemin avec des incrustations de pétales. Paloma.
ReplyDeleteI agree with those that say the blouce is beautiful but not paired with a dark skirt. Not many times do we see QM has a fashion mis-step,but this is one of them.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
I don't like the blouse. Not the wide puffy sleeves, not the collar and especially not the the flowers. For me it is to much granny Like.
