On Sunday, September 7, 2025, Princess Madeleine opened Min Stora Dag’s Amusement Park Day at Gröna Lund in Stockholm. Children and their families from all over Sweden were invited to celebrate the foundation’s 25th anniversary. The Princess inaugurated the Amusement Park Day together with Min Stora Dag’s Secretary General, Jennifer McShane, and Ella Sjöström from the foundation’s Children and Youth Council.
A total of 300 children with serious illnesses and diagnoses had traveled to Stockholm with their families to take part in the special day. During the visit, the Princess joined some of the children on rides such as the Ladybug (Nyckelpigan), the Drop Tower (Pumpen), and the Teacups (Kaffekopparna).
The nationwide charity Min Stora Dag creates special “Big Days” for children with serious illnesses and diagnoses. A “Big Day” gives children encouragement, confidence, and inspiration to keep fighting. Princess Madeleine is Patron of Min Stora Dag.
What a terrific event, well done to the Princess, marvellous for the children. She looks lovely in this shade of mint green (I think that is the color!)
ReplyDeletePrincess Madeleine looks gorgeous - love the suit and the beautiful and yet simple blouse. Maybe it is a knit sweater but it is to perfection. White trainers do not spoil the outfit - they are perfect for the event. She is very brave to agree to test out the rides - I wouldn't have gone that far in public service.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pantsuit, interesting color. White top and trainers go well with her suit. Not fond of wide leg pants tbh bc I would look frumpy in them, but Madeleine look so elegant and stylish.

ReplyDeleteLovely to see many royal women these days in colourful trouser suits, white top, white sneakers. Elegant, comfortable, practical, approachable. For this Me + Em suit I would have liked it even more with straight trousers rather than so so wide.

ReplyDeleteShe looks very in her flowing pantsuit, her hair is beautiful. I wonder why she didn't take her children to the park, it seems like a fun place to be!
