On September 13, 2025, Princess Kako of Japan arrived in Tottori Prefecture to attend the 12th National High School Sign Language Performance Koshien. The Princess visited a welfare facility in Yurihama Town, where she joined five residents with physical and mental disabilities in playing boccia. Afterwards, Princess Kako visited the newly opened Tottori Prefectural Museum of Art in Kurayoshi City.
The competition will be held on September 14 at Acepack Miraichūshin in Kurayoshi City. The National High School Sign Language Performance Koshien has been held since 2014 to promote sign language among people without hearing disabilities through the competition by showcasing high school students’ abilities to communicate in that manner. Princess Kako has attended the competition since it began, except while studying abroad.
Beautiful autumn contrasting colours. She appears to be such a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteToujours aussi charmante, Kako porte une petite veste cintrée sur une robe dont le rouge lui va à ravir !
ReplyDeleteI'm not liking this color combination, and the dress seems to long for the princess. But she is very engaged in the event and giving it her all!
ReplyDeleteP. Kako is the seemingly more fun, and definitely more animated member of the current Imperial family. She seems to bring big, informal (vs. formal) smiles and joy to all her engagements. Good on her!

All that you said, agree with you.
DeleteI love Princess Kako's style. Her dress is simple & elegant I think the jacket looks nice, a very classical look. Mary
