On Sunday, September 14, 2025, Princess Anne attended the Edinburgh Riding of the Marches, one of the city’s largest public events. The Edinburgh Riding of the Marches is a reenactment of a historical practice in which the city’s boundaries were checked on horseback to ensure that the landed gentry were not encroaching on land belonging to the common people. The tradition was also carried out in the 29 Riding Towns of Scotland.

    Nice to see her on a horse once again. She is one of the busiest Royals. Nice outfit as well.

    Prinzessin Anne eine der wertvollsten Frauen in unseren Zeiten. Immer wieder faszinierend ohne das man es wirklich in Worten ausdrücken kann, ob es ihre Kleidung, ihre Haltung oder ihr Fleiß und Elan ist.

    Beautiful horses. They remember me the Lippizaner white horses who are walzing at the Spanish Reiterschüle in Vienna. The Lippizaner receive an extraordinary care program so they are looking even better than these white horses.

    OMG! She is an incredible woman and Princess. She is in her element here, smiling and loving being in the saddle. She looks so happy and engaging. She is a real jewel in the crown, I think she is superb, all class and dignity.
