On September 26, 2025, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima received the President of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, in audience at Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague. President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to the Netherlands underscores the commitment to strengthening the excellent relations between the two countries, particularly in strategic areas of mutual interest such as cultural, scientific, and economic cooperation.
For the occasion, Queen Máxima wore a navy double-breasted jacket by Sandro Paris.

Great look, just not keen on the position of the top buttons, not needed and not as placed
ReplyDeleteYes I agree. I cannot imagine how a designer adds buttons at “nipple” height. A weird design decision. Great jacket for Maxima, top two buttons excepted.
DeleteGreat outfit on Maxima. Today she decided on a more formal look. Where does she get the energy from after just returning from New York?

Were do most people get their energy from?
Delete素敵。
ReplyDeleteボタンの位置が絶妙。
I think so too.

Finally, a professional look.
ReplyDeleteMuch better than the U.N. outfits.
Kim
Je ne suis pas habituée à voir la reine avec ce style de veste.
ReplyDeleteJe trouve qu’elle est bien vêtue !
Belle harmonie de couleurs.
J’aurais bien aimé voir de plus près des chaussures.
-Astrid.
Ses* pardon.
ReplyDeleteI think the jacket fits and looks very good. Personally I don't like baggy pants.
ReplyDeleteIf she had done a little something [better] with her hair this would be a perfect look for her.
ReplyDeleteThe jacket is a good fit and looks wonderful. The buttons give definition to the jacket. Her white pants fit well and not baggy. Love this look.
ReplyDeleteWhy oh why design a jacket with two big prominent buttons exactly where (ideally) the two nipples of a woman would sit - and even if: why buy+wear a jacket like this? Without those two (that cannot be closed anyway) it would be a fine ensemble on Máxima. But those two golden buttons make me laugh each time I look at them.
ReplyDeleteThis is Sandro, not really a true designer. Don’t expect the same quality of design
DeleteJe n'ai rien redire sur les boutons mais à mon avis, les épaules n'ont pas besoin d'être carrées pour la morphologie de Maxima !
ReplyDeleteDear Ava Pittman, 21.12 you do love to argue about this and that outfit on royals.
I am quite surprised that your comment states that Ava Pittman "loves to argue" about outfits. I think that Ava is always kind and diplomatic whenever she contributes her responses.

Ava is systematically kind and thoughtful.
DeleteLooks like queen Maxima is going sailing after this event !!
ReplyDeleteIn the Navy..!
DeleteNot a combination for inside, but very good for a summersday on the quai or some sailing event.
ReplyDeleteAgree
DeleteWhen they invite people to their palace, they are always dressed a little less formally. I like that.
DeleteHer hair is not befitting a woman with the title of "Queen." Yes, it is being said again because she continues to represent her country like this. What other "queen" has ever consistently not chosen to style her hair?
ReplyDeleteNow this is a nice professional look for the Queen.
