حذفI'm with you, @Coralie. Very beautiful and ethereal dress that suits Charlotte perfectly. Chanel can have many different styles in clothes and go forward. No fashion house should relay only on certain formulas, they don't bring new customers.
حذفCharlotte is also one of those few people for whom a tighter hairstyle suits. She has such flawless facial features.
The dress is nice but she should have done better with her hair.

حذفLe tissu mousseline est sans doute très joli (grâce aux petites paillettes argentées) mais la forme de la robe n'est pas très chic pour une soirée, on dirait plutôt une robe d'été-tablier (je parle de la coupe et des bretelles). De plus je ne comprends pas le mélange des paillettes : celles en forme de fleurs évoquent un peu les vacances d'été, alors que celles en croisillons évoquent le Paris ou le Broadway des années 30, ce n'est donc pas très logique ni très harmonieux (à mon avis). Enfin, il me semble que de très petites manches aux épaules, un peu drapées, ou en petites "pagodes" à volants, seraient plus chics.
ردحذفCôté coiffure Charlotte aurait été plus élégante avec un chignon un peu haut et flou car les cheveux très aplatis ne lui vont pas, dommage.
Des boucles d'oreilles ou un fin collier auraient été un bon ajout pour une soirée de gala. Paloma.
The top transparent part stretching over the shoulders looks somewhat messy to me. Do those straps (two of them visible on one side, one beside and one under the transparent fabric) belong to the dress or are they part of her bra? Untidy details, the dress could be nice without this piece of fabric being transparent. As for her hairstyle: I have a growing sympathy for women who do away with hairstyles that require endless preparation - and what comes out of that, looks less and less natural with each step. Sometimes nice for a big occasion - but cannot we value beauty without artificially blown up hairstyles? Just my twopence.

ردحذفThe bodice of the dress reminds of the 20s and the charleston. The skirt is too long to wear as a charleston dress which were shorter and narrower and had a lower waist than usual. This dress can be worn as a cocktail dress. But I don't like the way it is made especially the bodice. Can she buy the Chanel dresses at a reduced price since it was fashion about a year ago (Winter 2024-25) ? Or maybe she can just borrow them since she is working for the brand.

حذفI do not agree with you. What about all the queens and princesses who are rewearing dresses and outfits which are 10 years old like Queen Maxima of The Netherlands. Queen Mary of Denmark who had several of her gala dresses restored and is still wearing them ? It is possible that the ladies of the aristocratie can sometimes borrow a dress by their go to designer, but not all the time. If this was the case there would be a lot of designers who had no work anymore. It is not the average lady who is going to buy the expensive dresses and outfits by Chanel, Dior, or at one of their colleagues.
I, too, am rather puzzled and disappointed by that dress. The materials aren´t bad and the idea has potential, but the overall execution leaves a lot to be desired. My main problem is the positioning of neckline and waistline, both of which are too low for me. I´d like to bring the whole dress up by 3cm at least, possibly even 5cm. That would allow for a more defined waist and also have a positive impact on the hemline, then ending up just under her knees.
ردحذفThe next problem are those straps. They are meant to look sheer, I guess, but loose? Or is that right shoulder strap torn? And lastly, the hemline really didn´t need that long overlay. I get that it is meant to mirror the sheer straps but it does make for a sloppy look, like someone literally wrapped that sheer fabric on top in a last minute afterthought.

While the lower, layered tulle part of this outfit looks good, the upper part is a miss imv.
I would get rid of the mesh overlay and leave the silver sequined (?), off the shoulder shimmering bodice underneath free to shine .
One can never go wrong with a silver/ black combo.
Regardless, Charlotte looks beautiful.
Wow. An uninspired shapeless 'dress' that has a designer name is still an uninspired shapeless dress. It does nothing for the model or Charlotte. She's lovely but even she looks uninspired by this Chanel.
