On August 25, 2025, King Frederik X and Queen Mary arrived at Sæby Harbor in Frederikshavn Municipality aboard the Royal Yacht Dannebrog. The King and Queen visited Råbjerg Mile, where they were given a guided walking tour by Jesper Blom Hansen, District Forester at the Danish Nature Agency Vendsyssel, and Bo Storm, Nature Guide in Frederikshavn Municipality. Råbjerg Mile is one of Europe’s largest migrating sand dunes.
Råbjerg Mile is a coastal dune located between Skagen and Frederikshavn. The dune measures about 1,000 meters on each side and moves approximately 15 meters northeast each year. At Grenen, the two seas, Kattegat and Skagerrak, meet. In the past, Grenen pointed north, but as the area is constantly changing, the tip now points more east than north.
Afterwards, King Frederik and Queen Mary visited Anchers Hus in Skagen, where they were welcomed by museum director Lisette Vind Ebbesen and chair of the board Bjarne Kvist. The King and Queen were given a tour of the home of the artist couple Anna and Michael Ancher.
Nice casual clothes, perfect for the occasion. Love the look on the kings face looking at the little boy.
ReplyDeleteThese two are so comfortable with each other. love them.
ReplyDeletelovely legs too
Ok, here I really love Mary's outfit (and actually Frederik's too). It's casual and still smart. Most of all I like her shorts. The loose baggyness in the wind reminds me slightly of Jonathan Andersen's recent debut collection for Dior Men.
ReplyDeleteBut most of all, I'm loving seeing how much fun these two are having, foot loose and fancy free. The photo of Mary in the water with the waves behind her and Frederik taking her photo is just lovely.
