Crown Princess Victoria and Her Children Attend Finnkampen 2025
On August 23, 2025, Crown Princess Victoria and her children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar, attended the Finland–Sweden Athletics International 2025 (Finnkampen) at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the competition. Finnkampen is an annual athletics event held between Sweden and Finland since 1925.
Estelle is growing into a beauty!
ReplyDeleteNo dear Victoria, this jacket with that incomprehensible triangle displaying unavoidable creases (and offering nothing positive) does not grow on me. Neither do the pants that cannot decide if they are a too long and tight culottes or too short pants. This is simply unattractive design, not a bit better on the model.
ReplyDeleteI see excessive criticism in 23:54's comments. Women today are no longer satisfied with strict styling rules. Let them breath please. I admit however that the fit of the trousers is not perfect on her.
DeleteIt is quite remarkable how the color of her blazer flatters her so exquisitely, and how perfectly it rests upon her shoulders—one could scarcely imagine a more graceful fit. Yuliia
Delete@MaryT: This jacket is a rewear and you can better see what is meant with those creases in the third and fourth photos here: https://www.newmyroyals.com/2025/06/crown-princess-victoria-attends-blue.html and here too: https://www.newmyroyals.com/2025/03/crown-princess-victoria-attends-2025.html. Whatever is meant by letting her "breath", it is just an unhappy choice to present this area of the body prone to display creases (and a zip). This is not a question of strict rules, just a consideration that something that looks good on the drawing board, turns out to be quite unattractive in real life.
DeleteOther royal ladies are wearing this brand too. The pants worn like this are not the latest fashion but if the wearer likes it like that why not ? When Princess Catherine is wearing her Veronica Beard suit, everybody seems to like it. When Queen Letizia is wearing one of her older pants like these nobody has negative remarks. Strange.
Delete@23:54 i don’t understand your viewpoint on the trousers as we cannot see them in these pictures. Estelle has jeans and a jacket, cute look, and Victoria’s trousers can’t be seen but may also be some other trousers than the suit trousers shown on a ln earlier wear ( you can see it’s a different day because the earrings are different in the photo of Victoria next to the model photos). I happen to love the full suit on her but as we only see the jacket in these photos think it’s still suiting her beautifully, the colour is gorgeous and the cut is sharp and so neat. Lovely Victoria!
DeleteThe Crown Princess is representing Sweden at a sporting event so this blue color is perfect to match the Swedish national colors. Also love the modern cut of the jacket and pants. On the flip side, I don’t understand the black heels and not very excited about the plain white shirt.
ReplyDeleteI think the black heels photo is from another event. They all are nicely dressed, they seem to honour the Finnish colours blue and white.

Wow! Estelle is growing up, fast! I like the color of Victorias jacket.
ReplyDeleteA première vue, Il me semble que cette veste croisée se porte mieux non boutonnée pour se combiner avec ce pantalon !
ReplyDeleteVictoria gives a nice nod to the Finland flag, blue and white / Maja
ReplyDeleteI can't remember if this is a rewear.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I simply adore Veronica Beard's creations and this one is no exception.
Pss Victoria looks fabulous.
The colour of her paint suit is sublime.
Her children are growing up fast and wonderfully.
Were the Swedes "finnished"? 🇫🇮 🇸🇪
ReplyDeleteNo, the Swedes won in both men's and women's leagues. Congrats!

It is a rewear, a nice suit for the occasion. The colour is very nice, fit nice. My only quibble is the placement of the top two buttons, they could be left off.
ReplyDeleteEstelle and Oscar, why have they corners of mouth turned down, no smile???
ReplyDeleteChildren act intuitively!!! No mask, no show for the press!!!
This blog is to critique fashion not facial expressions that are caught in a split second of a camera snap. They look happy and healthy well dressed and groomed along with their mother in a pretty blue suit
Delete@20:43 My goodness. Even Victoria - known for her big smiles - is not going to sit through a long sporting match with a big smile plastered on her face the entire time. I would think Estelle & Oscar had moments of glee. The photos show the people around them with similar facial expressions. I like Victoria's suit. ~~Ruthie
DeleteJust ignore this writer, its a troll.
And now you wrote the same comment in Swedish as you wrote at 20:43 in English!
DeleteI'm sure you understand that these pictures are only from moments and from a few seconds. So you have no idea how much they were enjoying and smiling. I'm not invalidating your comment, just wondering because you doubled it 🤔
Fashion wise this suit is not my favor, but blue suits Victoria and I do not see any problem with the "triangle". There is a normal zip in the trousers and she has a great figur. What's embarrassing is in the front of a woman's pants? Perhaps this is a generational or cultural issue.
This is a google translate, not fluent swedish..so not sure what the writer wants to achive
DeleteDressed for every occasion. like the suit a lot. Nice outing for the children with their mother.
