On July 3, 2025, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the Groundswell Regenerative Agriculture Festival at Lannock Manor Farm in Hertfordshire. As Patron of the Association of Show and Agricultural Organisations, the Duchess met with experts from across the farming sector to learn more about the science behind producing food in a safe and nutritious way.

Taking place from 2 to 3 July 2025 and now in its ninth year, the UK’s only two-day on-farm regenerative agriculture conference is hosted by the Cherry family at Lannock Manor Farm in Hertfordshire. Groundswell is a practical event aimed at anyone seeking to better understand a farmer’s most vital asset — the soil — and make more informed decisions.

  4. Sophie porte une robe chemise rayée qui doit être très rafraîchissante pour cet été ; aurait-elle raccourci ses cheveux ou sont-ils juste ramenés sur la nuque ?

What a pretty, classy summer dress! I like the long belt and the flow of the dress in the wind. The espadrilles are the perfect touch to the overall look.

  6. Oh dear, it’s stripes week for our UK royals this week. This dress does absolutely nothing for the lovely Duchess. I’m sure it’s cool and comfortable but apart from the tie details, it could be a nightshirt.

She looks nice in this dress, I did get the nightshirt vibe a bit. Unfortunately you can see through the fabric when the light catches it, leaving nothing to the imagination.

Yes I think a slip would have been in order.

Fresh summerdress. If the dress was less long and the weird belt was a classic one, it could be a lovely shirt dress.

      Yes, agreed!!
But it must be a supermarket where wealthy clients usually do their shopping, something like the Harrods Food Hall, maybe?
Have you ever done the shopping/ errands in such classy places?

  11. This is a lovely summer dress, the skirt has nice movement, and sits well. She looks beautiful.

What a sympathetic woman is Sophie, she is a jewel for the royal family! She looks fresh and pretty, very nice summer dress.

I don’t think the brand Suzannah does very much for Duchess Sophie. This dress is pretty, but the crossover belt highlights the upper part of the body. When an individual is not wearing the correct under garments it highlights that fact. I’m not a fan of the tie espadrille shoes, they always look as if they’re cutting off the circulation in the leg! A plain pair of white trainers would have looked better.

I agree completely , especially the espadrilles. Plain pump-style wedges in espadrilles are so much nicer and more elegant looking (like the ones Catherine used to wear years ago).
