On July 13, 2025, Crown Princess Leonor of Spain arrived in the city of Marín, Pontevedra, aboard the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano. With this arrival, the heir to the throne officially completed her six-month naval training aboard the historic vessel.
Following her arrival in Marín, the Crown Princess attended a ceremony held at the Naval Military Academy. She had embarked with her fellow midshipmen on January 11 for a voyage that included visits to several cities across Latin America and the United States.
