Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía Attend the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 Final
On July 27, 2025, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía attended the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 final between the national teams of England and Spain, held at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland. Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía were joined by the Prince of Wales and Princess Charlotte for the final match of the tournament. This was the fifth final-stage match held at St. Jakob-Park in Basel.[ads id="ads1"]England reached the final after defeating Italy on Tuesday in Geneva, while Spain secured their spot by beating Germany in the second semifinal on Wednesday. The 2025 UEFA Women's Championship, commonly known as UEFA Women's EURO 2025 or simply Euro 2025, is the 14th edition of the tournament — a quadrennial international football competition organized by UEFA for the women’s national teams of Europe.
It was lovely to see Prince William bring Princess Charlotte along. She looked pretty in her polka dot dress,a re-wear from Wimbledon ‘24 I think.
ReplyDeleteThe two Spanish princesses looked pretty in their chosen ensembles. Though I wonder how chilly it is in Switzerland that Sofia needs a scarf.
Lowri.
William's mini me is growing up fast! i like the polka dots, right age for above the knees dresses.
DeleteSofia did not need the scarf
Lowri, A scarf for a sports match in a stadium is always a good idea if one feels the cold … or needs something red to wave in the air to cheer for one’s country!!!
DeleteRed is the colour of Spain's national team, that's why she wore the scarf, she does it at every match of the team, as a way of suppprting them.
DeleteAll look very nicely and appropriately dressed. Love that Charlotte is wearing a dress that is shorter and modern.
ReplyDeleteOf course, it's summer in Switzerland, too. However, it's true that on the day of the football final, there was heavy rain and relatively low temperatures. I can therefore understand why Sofia brought a scarf, as it could get quite chilly in the evening.
DeleteAll together so very very cute and very very lovely ... Princesses and the future Queen of Spain and King Great Britain!!!! Love them all!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAstrid from Austria
Charlotte is and the spanish royal girls are real-royal-princess-material☺️
Paloma.
I love seeing unusual royal groupings coming together and this one is especially sweet. Two royal sisters, and a royal father and his young daughter, and between the 4 of them, two crown royals as well, who very well might reign during each others term. Other than sports, I wonder what else they chatted about. The links of common ground would be very interesting to know, especially since the Spanish and British royal families are very close, in addition to having strong historical ties. All 4 are dressed nicely, though I too wonder about the red scarf, unless it has a sports related purpose for the Spanish team.

Charlotte knows how to pose for a photo already. Well done young lady. It speaks confidence and style. The Spanish Princess’s look gorgeous, they know how to do their makeup. Well for William say no more handsome as usual.
ReplyDeleteShe is turning into a happy confident young lady, well done to her parents
DeleteI can't decide if Charlotte looks more like her father or mother. She is a nice blend of both parents.
ReplyDeleteI think she looks like princess Anne (and prince William), around her mouth.
Deleteshe seems to have turned a page, i dont see Queen/princess Elizabeth anymore
DeleteI never understand why it is so important to decide who these children look like. It is discussed every time a child is on this blog. So often, the opinions contradict each other. Sometimes that resemblance can come with an added burden to live up to that ancestor's example. Let the children look like themselves and be their own unique individual person. As I read through the comments, there are mentions of William, Catherine, the Queen, Anne and Diana. Let's allow Charlotte to look like Charlotte.
DeleteC’est un plaisir de voir William en compagnie de sa charmante fille Charlotte ; ravissantes Leonor et Sofia dans leur tenue idéale !
ReplyDeleteHow marvellous to see Charlotte with her father. She looks lovely in this age appropriate dress, she looks so much like William. The Spanish Princess but look beautiful.

ReplyDeleteInfanta Sofia may not need the scarf, but I am glad she wore it because she looks wonderful in it. So striking. She is tall and statuesque, able to wear dramatic, “statement” pieces without being overwhelmed by them. Well done.
ReplyDeleteAll this foreign princess looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteI agree on all the positive comments, I enjoyed very much reading them.
ReplyDeletePrince William and Princess Charlotte who is his mini me ! I’ve never seen a dad and daughter look so alike ! Stunning. Two absolutely beautiful human beings.
ReplyDeletePrincess Charlotte is a beautiful girl. I see a glimpse of Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana in her.
ReplyDeleteYeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssss
DeleteReally wonderful picture and so sweet to see a dad/daughter shared event. I’m sure it meant the world each of them💖
ReplyDeleteProud FATHER, lucky happy DAUGHTER
DeletePrincess Charlotte really looks like William 💗 A truly beautiful family inside and out!
ReplyDeleteAnd if she was standing with Catherine you’d say she looks like Catherine. These poor children, they have two parents and 4 grandparents, I’d say she is a mix.
DeleteShe looks more William than Catherine.
DeleteAww what a beautiful picture. it’s so good to see Princess Charlotte attending this important match with her beloved dad today! Thank you for this wonderful surprise ❤️❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteIs this Charlotte’s first international appearance with European princesses like her?
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought... Love them!!!
DeletePor favor no vistan a nuestra princesa y a nuestra infanta siempre igual de mal. Es obligotario que vayan con la americana todos días ?
ReplyDeleteTranslate please
DeleteAnon at 17:31, you can use google translator or at least try to guess (many words are similar in many languages) . We all can use our own languages if we want, English is not required here.
Love to see the Royal Infantas and Princess Charlotte! ❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteSorry, Leonor is a Princess, only Sofía is an Infanta because she is not the heir.
DeleteMe too
DeleteQue bonita la Princesa Charlotte🙏
ReplyDeletePrincess Charlotte looks much better in her dress by Guess kids than in the almost same style dress at Wimbledon this year. This blue polkadot dress has a good lenght for a girl of her age, the white dress with the navy details was much too long for Charlotte.
ReplyDeletePrincess Sofia might have a cold that she is wearing a scarf. In my town many people catched a cold after the heat. Now the weather is rainy, stormy and sometimes full of sunshine, very irregularly. The max. t° are not higher than 23° degrees.
13:24 interested by your idea that someone with a scarf might have a cold (an old wive’s tale in certain cultures that a scarf can help a cold …) versus someone who IS cold wanting a scarf because yes they add warmth. But here, quite simply, I think she’s wearing it because she’s at a match to support Spain (colour red!).

DeleteI never said a scarf can help a cold, but sometimes people feel more comfortable when they wear one. And it is for the better when it serves 2 goals (the color of the Spanish team).
Great idea to bring little Charlotte to the womens football match!
ReplyDeleteShe must get some slice of action, even if in the end she is just a spare. She’ll learn to live with that probably better than Harry has. Or at least I hope so.
