On July 23, 2025, King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited the Sandringham Flower Show, held at Sandringham House in Norfolk. King Charles and Queen Camilla toured the show, meeting with guests, members of local gardening and horticultural clubs, and supporters of various charities. The Flower Show is set in the park, with Sandringham House and the Church of St Mary Magdalene providing a picturesque backdrop.

A lot of us work July - early August, and go on holiday late August - early September, thus avoiding crowds, other people's childeren, and heavy costs as it is school holidays, and often the weather is better in early September. A friend of mine calls August "The English Monsoon".

حذفBut it’s not inappropriate , dear fashion commenters, if you look at the tailoring and fabric which are both superb. What makes an outstanding working outfit - and she is working - is the basic ingredients done beautifully. And this IS what she does, without fail, in a style she and her seamstress have perfected, that is both comfortable for her and pleasing to her.
حذفThe dress is just good to wear in the kitchen between the pots and pans. Eventually with an apron on top of it not to make it dirty too fast, but not for a queen to go out. A queen does not wear working outfits when she goes out to meet people. When she does not feel comfortable in a pretty dress because of the dogs and the flower show, she could still wear beautiful cotton pants and a sporty jacket or a skirt and jacket in the same fabric to wear something else than these old fashion house dresses. I do not understand how one can call the fabric and tailoring of this dress superb. I do not understand either how a queen can go out like this. She looks like someone who didn't had the courage or the time to change clothes before going out. She probably grabbed quickly her shoes and took an handbag with her GSM, paper tissues, and other things she usually takes with her.
