Today, July 14, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is celebrating her 48th birthday. The celebrations are taking place at Solliden Palace and the ruins of Borgholm Castle on the island of Öland. The day began at Solliden Palace, where King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, and Prince Oscar greeted the crowd gathered in front of the palace to mark the occasion.
The festivities continued at the ruins of Borgholm Castle in the presence of King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine, and Christopher O'Neill. During the event, the Crown Princess presented the 2025 Victoria Prize to beach volleyball players David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig. For the occasion, the Crown Princess wore a long dress by Saloni, while Princess Estelle wore a mini dress by Indiska.
The Swedish Royals look happy and colourful and relaxed - a perfect Swedish summer’s day by the look. Am always happy to see Chris O’Neill smiling like that - as for a long time press photos showed him unsmiling. Intercontinental moves are always hard so it’s always a real pleasure when it works out.

حذفA very happy 48th birthday to CPss Victoria of Sweden. Love this dress, she always has fun I love to watch her. Estelle is a real beauty lovely dress. Hope everyone has a great time. Sofia must be with the children sadly she is missed for the celebrations.

For the first time I'm seeing Daniel looking less than his usual smart, fitted-clothes, elegant self. Quite a bit less. Jacket and trousers seem too big.
I'd like to see a full view of Madeline's dress. That fringed hem and fabric pattern has piqued my interest.

Queen looks particularly lovely in the combo. Victoria's dress is one of the more attractive floral patterns I have seen her wear. Skirt could do without the ruffles on the bottom. But the top is lovely. Nice to see Chris and Madeleine and joining in also.

ردحذفStandouts for me are Carl Gustav, in that wonderfully modern pale green suit and tie which flatters his colouring, and Sylvia looking so fresh and sharp in hot pink and white. The frills of the blouse add the feminine details which suit her so well; and the chunky Chanel-style jacket is so eternally youthful, it could just as easily be worn by her granddaughter. ردحذفNormal hair growth. Let's let a young girl grow up without observing too closely or asking questions that dont need to be publicly asked. Remember her mum had a terrible time growing up in the spotlight, becoming very ill. It's just a really bad idea to do anything other than compliment a young person (especially when we dont know her and have no right to speak into her life).

حذفThank you anon 9:55! Unfortunately, these reminders are necessary. We don't scrutinize children! They never asked to be born into these families or be made public figures. As a community, we should be protective of them. Yes, Victoria was very ill which had everything to do with her public upbringing. Let's not contribute to a repeat of that with Estelle.

ردحذفAlthough I am not a fan of maxi dresses, I like CP Victoria's dress very much. The colors are lovely and soft and suit her. Her dark brown hair matches these colors ver well.

Estelle has never worn a 'mini mini' dress. Micro mini's barely cover the undergarments. Estelle is dressing like girls her age. Good for Victoria and Daniel for allowing her to be as normal as possible. I actually thought this dress was a little long for a young teen.
حذفYes she has the day before. And it is OK with me. The only thing I said, since she is so tall a dress a bit longer looks better. There are other princesses whose dress is too long and it is not princess Estelle and they are even younger than princess Estelle.

ردحذفFashion became international. There are Scandinavian and many other brands available in Brussels and sometimes one can find lovely outfits among them. CP Victoria can wear other brands than Scandinavian if she wants it. In the big cities of Sweden there are also fashion stores which sell international brands.

ردحذفVictoria's maxi dress looks very lovely. Soft green and pink colors work really nicely together. Also her hairstyle looks very pretty this time.
ردحذفMadeleine's skirt and top look very interesting and fits her perfectly. Love the print and dark blue color goes so well with her eye color. Her hair have grown sooo long, she has very pretty and thick hair. With hair like hers, it would be interesting to see her trying out different braid styles.
