On June 21, 2025, King Charles and Queen Camilla attended the final day of Royal Ascot 2025, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire. The King and Queen were present for all five days of the event. On the last day of racing, they were accompanied by Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank. For the occasion, Princess Eugenie wore a red twist-neck crepe midi dress by Whistles, paired with a bespoke red hat by Emily London.

Eugenie is a no for me today, I don’t think a fabric that hugs her curves is to her advantage. The queen looks okay, nice hat. The butter yellow vest of the king is very becoming.
ReplyDeleteKing Charles all elegance in summery yellow, queen Camilla in a fluffy, new and slightly casual look. Not so fond of the white shoes, but that is a minor matter.
ReplyDeleteSmart royal couple.

Lorraine (Rose)
ReplyDeleteI agree. It may be a comfortable dress to wear, fashion wise perhaps not the best choice
DeleteEugenie: What a difference it makes if someone works with the best feature one has. Eugenie is pretty in this red dress, maybe cap sleeves are not really to her advantage. As opposed to her outfit yesterday, which was simply superb, excellent, stellar, unique. The focal point of that outfit was her waist, her hourglass figure with a nice thin waist even if she is everything but thin elsewhere. And using that thin waist defined the whole outfit - it looked smashing, I'll remember it for a while, but not this one. This one is OK, her hair is nicely done, pretty little hat - that's all.
ReplyDeleteWho is this woman, and what has she done to the Eugenie that we knew??? Wow...yesterday one fantastic look, and now today another! Let's enjoy it while we can and well done to her.
ReplyDeleteCamilla looks fantastic as well - both yesterday and today. These lighter fabric dresses/outfits really suit her (I know the weather over there was really hot) and she can do no wrong wearing white, which really is a good colour for her. I give her hat today 10/10.

The Queen's hat suits her well, she wears this beautifully. The diamond brooch watch is beautiful, I love this. Perfect choice for this event.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric of Eugenie's dress, I don't like. I don't feel this is flattering for her, but regardless, she looks lovely.
Princess Eugenie not so much Tiffany & 5th Avenue as yesterday
ReplyDeleteThey all look beautiful. Eugenie is shining in her orange outfit - let’s face it, not being model-thin does make it harder to find dresses, but there is absolutely nothing to criticise in a girl who has the luck to be more curvy. Camilla looks beautiful, that hat is absolutely perfect. Charles has been very dapper this week and it’s been a pleasure to see him looking so well.
ReplyDeleteQueen Camilla and Princess Eugenie both on top form again today. Love both hats, especially Eugenie’s
ReplyDeleteI adore Q.Camilla’s hat today. It’s so crisp and graphic. Her outfit on the other hand looks a bit wilted and is saved only by the gorgeous brooch. P. Eugenie has done well with her colour choice here but I think the dress should have been a size larger to allow it to flow rather than cling. The modern, minimalist hat is perfect though. King Charles continues to wow me with his subtle and sophisticated pattern and colour mixing (vest, tie, shirt, pocket square and tie pin). He’s been spot on with his choices the entire week. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteEugenie’s hair styling and makeup have really looked quite good the last two days.

Who could have thought that Camilla would develop into this very elegant Queen?!
ReplyDeleteLove the new white combination with the fluffy skirt and oh, that hat! Great!
I have always loved Camilla's two-piece outfits, usually suits that suit here so good. This one is an elegant two-piece and probably it is being a two-piece that makes it so good. Not being super slim does not have to be hidden, but it helps to drape around those curves a little bit instead of following them. Besides, it allows to wear a super flowy skirt, which is beautiful, without being super flowy and clinging around the upper body. For me, this is a really lovely outfit. As for the hat, she is always on the winning side with her hats. No silly tilts and UFO cups, go big and straightforward is what she is best at.
ReplyDeleteFinally Queen Camilla has replaced her zip dress for a beautiful white 2 pieces, pleated skirt of a good length and a nice top with a good length too. I have written it on several occassions here that she should try to wear more 2 pieces instead of these boring zip dresses or shirt dresses in a house dress style. I hope she continues to wear this style.
ReplyDeleteI hate these vests in baby colors or are it ice cream colors. They don't go well with the men's suits and ties. The only colors I think can be used are light grey with a grey suit and beige with a navy or black suit. And please adapt the ties.
ReplyDeleteThey must be sweating with their vests under the jacket of their suits. Lucky the ladies can leave their coat dresses at home and wear a summer dress instead.
Queen Camilla is a true fashionqueen!
ReplyDeleteOh please, really?
DeleteAgreed! She’s a style Queen for the older woman.
DeleteQueen Camilla has shown like a star this week! Every outfit has been beautiful, every hat has been spectacular (I love, love, love her big hats), and she's dazzled us with her picks of brooches. I love that she plays around in the BRF brooch collection. The York sisters have looked marvelous too--stylish, well-fitting dresses and great hats. The winner of the shoe sweepstakes is certainly Eugenie--those heels on Day 4 were gorgeous. KCIII has been perfectly turned out each day--he has marvelous taste and real flair (just like his late father). Zara has been a real fashion star this week--total fabulous in each look. Fergie redeemed herself after her first appearance with her polkadot dress. The Duchess of Gloucester was elegant. The Princess Royal looked wonderful--that blue silk dress was wonderful on her--except for that suit that had the orange piping. Sophie Edinburgh was a bit hit or miss this year but I did love her last outfit (the green and white dress)--and the hat for that one was terrific. This Ascot was a truly a sartorial success for the ladies of the BRF!

Why are they wearing umbrella's on a sunny day ? The weather forecasts did announce a really summer day with high t°.
ReplyDeleteIt's an optional part of the men's dress code when they are wearing Morning Dress, aka 'top hat and tails' to carry an umbrella, whether it is raining or not. You see them do this at the BP garden parties, when they are dressed this way as well.

And what about Queen Camilla. Is that awful plastic umbrella she carries in pict. 4 also an optional part of the ladies dress code ?
DeleteI wouldn't know, but since no other lady seems to be carrying one I guess it is optional. However, since she's a queen, I suppose she can do whatever she likes, from plastic umbrella to paper parasol.

@11:55 the umbrella Q Camilla is from the company that made custom clear umbrellas for the late Queen. QEII had them made with edging to match her coat dresses. The clear plastic was to allow people to see her when the umbrella was in use.
DeleteQueen Camilla looks fabulous!
