On Monday, June 30, 2025, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the 2025 Hampton Court Garden Festival at Hampton Court Palace in East Molesey. The Hampton Court Garden Festival is an annual British flower show held in early July, organized by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) at Hampton Court Palace in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. For the occasion, the Duchess wore a floral-print midi dress by Me+Em.

Waouh, une fleur parmi les fleurs - La première photo nous montre Sophie délicatement maquillée ; nous la voyons dans un environnement en train de se rafraîchir en mangeant une ou des glaces !!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Sophie looks adorable. What a lovely color for her, also like the pattern, and the dress fits so well. Good accessories for the occasion - espadrilles, bag and sunnies. Her hair is looking especially nicely done, and very summer sun kissed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely blue for Sophie. This is a lovely maxi dress on her. She seems so natural and down to earth!
ReplyDeletePretty dress, and the cute handbag is perfect.

For the first time her maxi dress is suitable for the event, very beautiful
ReplyDeleteNice dress, but why always so long.

This dress looks so pretty on Sophie, and her shoes look summery with it, as well as practical for the terrain.

What a terrific look on the D of E. She looks marvellously fresh. The little bag really works with the entire outfit
ReplyDeleteCute purse, dress is a nice colour and fit.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. The colour and pattern look so good on Sophie -- but the shape and design are so unflattering for her lovely figure, making her look as if she has gained many pounds. The sleeves and neckline in particular look tight and one size too small for her.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with you. Actually, this particular cut suits Sophie very nicely. The sleeves and neckline are NOT tight and she looks slim. Sophie looks very young, very feminine - unlike the model (who chooses models with such bad posture and absent-minded looks - as we see in the picture - is a mystery to me).

You know models are not chosen for their beauty, but they must have a number of qualifications that respond to the rules of the fashion world.
Delete1. being extremely thin
2. have the correct bone structure
3. have a certain hair quality that can easily pulled out of their face and be styled in a bun for exemple
4. I almost forget being taller than the average length of women
Sometimes they are called walking clothes hangers, which I find rather rude because these girls are only doing their (very demanding) job.
great looks on Sophie
ReplyDeleteIt is since a long time that Duchess Sophie looks so beautiful in one of her dresses. I find it too long but it is a maxi dress. Normally that is the length maxi-dresses are worn. The dress fits beautifully. Love her hair like this. The espadrilles are a good idea in this warm weather. The bag is a big no for me. It looks like something children are making in hobby class. For the rest she looks fine this time.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful dress! She looks adorable. Are they all eating icecream? What a cute picture!
ReplyDeleteThis dress looks lovely on the Duchess, the pattern and colors of the fabric very pretty. She looks elegant.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful snapshots of the D of E. She looks beautiful. Personally, I believe she is using a new rinse on her hair to gracefully transition to gray hair. She will still look beautiful and much more natural than others who try maintain youth. That being said, she never seemed to want too much attention paid to her. She was more like the Queen and the elder members of the British royal family. All focus should be on her representation of the crown. She does a marvelous job.
