On June 25, 2025, Queen Máxima, together with Mrs. Loes Meurs, the partner of Prime Minister Dick Schoof, hosted the partners’ programme during the NATO Summit. The accompanying partners of heads of state and government were invited to a full-day programme in Rotterdam. The partners’ programme is a traditional component of NATO summits, offering spouses and partners of world leaders an informative and engaging agenda held in parallel to the official proceedings.
Mayor Carola Schouten of Rotterdam welcomed the group at the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen. After a group photo on the rooftop — which offered panoramic views of the Rotterdam skyline — guests were given a guided tour of the facility. Later, the group explored the city from the water aboard the Prinses Amalia, the flagship vessel of the Royal Spido fleet. The cruise passed notable landmarks including the Euromast, Eemhaven, the SS Rotterdam, and the iconic Erasmus and Willems bridges.
Q.Max's skirt is very pretty but I don't care much for the blouse. There's too much detail at the back which doesn't make a lot of sense from a design perspective.
ReplyDeleteTwo outfits really stand out for me - one is the lady in the bright yellow/green dress. Great colour and fit for her. The second is the pale green trouser and blouse combo on the woman with the long dark hair. Relaxed elegance! Mme Macron looks good too although I find the colour a bit autumnal for this time of year. (V.M.)
I think it's lovely that Mme. Macron assists Mme. Erdogan along with walkway by letting her take her arm.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree - it's a small but very elegant detail from a human perspective! Lovely.
DeleteI love the light blue dress with flowers that one of the spouses is wearing. The below knee mid brown dress is also beautiful . PS I find it sad that in 2025 almost every global leader is a man and wonder whether inter-country relations would have more listening and teamwork if more women were in power.
ReplyDeleteI think the lady in the blue dress with flowers is the Mayor of Rotterdam. She hosted the Queen and the Queen's guests.

Interesting variety of outfits. Mme Macron looks as elegant as one would expect, the lady in the blue dress is lovely and the yellow dress is also a good choice
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks so elegant. Her hair was styled beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI see a lot of lovely outfits in these photos. Madame Macron's dress fits to perfection and her kindness has not gone unnoticed. In addition to Maxima's that I love, the yellow and the soft aqua two piece outfits caught my attention.
ReplyDelete@ Virginia Dogwood.
DeleteI agree. In Europe Madame Brigitte Macron is known for her kindness to other people. She is always ready to help someone who has difficulties to walk like Mrs Erdogan on these pictures. She tried to do it for royal ladies in the past, but it is not always accepted by some of them.
The ladies of Head of States are with the Queen, while the Husbands are working hard.? Nice outfits The Queen looks lovely, but Madam Macron is the most elegant again, love the color of her dress, the lady in the yellow suit also stunning and also some other outfits from what one can see.

Love, love! the blouse. The Queen looks stunning.
ReplyDeleteLove, love! the blouse. The Queen looks stunning.
ReplyDeleteStunning outfit of the lady in yellow !!
ReplyDeleteAnd the Swedish "second" lady insists of turning up in her priest-outfit...
ReplyDeleteThe wife of the Swedish prime minister wears always her priest's dress when representing and participating events. Nothing wrong with that. I'm not "a believer" but her priest's dress doesn't bother me, I find it rather a great thing.
DeleteMany participants are having beautiful clothes but the yellow dress is my number one.
Any reason why she should not? Would you question a male priest.
DeleteJ'adore toute la tenue de madame Erdogan !
ReplyDeleteThe image of Mrs. Macron and Mrs. Erdogan is the best one I have seen from this entire visit ♥
