On June 12, 2025, Queen Mathilde received a delegation from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at the Royal Palace in Brussels, in her capacity as an Advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The UN delegation is leading a new awareness campaign on the impact of climate change on food security, titled “Awake Walk.”
Michael Haddad, a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for climate action and a paralyzed endurance athlete, briefed the Queen on his upcoming trek in the Arctic region, which aims to raise international awareness of the climate crisis.
Very nice colour and fit. Spring/summer is bring out the shorter pant length which is very flattering, much better than the oversized flood pants.

ردحذفThe trousers are ok for slim fit design; I think it would have been better for her not to have the blouse tucked in, or in a loser way.
حذفGood point about the blouse not tucked in. That would indeed be an improvement. I think a less formal shoe would have also helped. Something like loafers or flat sandals.

حذفWhy it are Queen Mathilde's high heels which are always receiving negative comments ? When Princess Catherine or Princess Marie are wearing black stiletto's with their 7/8 trousers, I do not hear these comments.

ردحذفSurprised that the UN delegation is welcomed in a room of the Royal Palace in Brussels which apparently is not renovated yet. The most important works are finished already, but this room could use a new wall covering. Maybe works are still going on in the other rooms of the palace.
