  1. I always appreciate unusual and creative designs when it comes to clothing.
Maxima's top is unlike anything I have seen before. The draped scarf effect is very dramatic especially when viewed from the back. It pairs well with the lovely printed skirt which also has an unusual lacey hem. I like the whole outfit and I think Maxima looks great.

Lovely understated outfit and the hair still looks good too. Hope those who felt that yesterday’s outfit was too colourful are happier today!!

Van de achterkant ziet het er heel vreemd uit, rare cape mouwen , pruik, en veel te hoge hakken.

Wig? Stop it. You are probably one of the people who are obsessed with her hair and never fail to make a negative comment. Since her hair looks very nice, you say it is a wig.
Likewise about the heels. Her shoes are not too high. They are very elegant. If you can't wear high heels, wear what you are comfortable with. Do not criticize women who can wear them.

I love the color and pattern of the skirt and the shoes match perfectly.
However I think that a less fussy shirt would have looked better.
So, that's about three engagements with nicely styled hair this week!

Maxima looks fantastic, although her normal generous smile is absent.

Trump made up for it with his glow in the dark teeth!

If another queen or princess should wear this skirt and blouse by Natan, they would receive bad comments. I think Edouard Vermeulen had a left over from Princess Stéphanie's cape dress, just enough to make a skirt for Queen Maxima. The lace hem and the piece of white fabric draped over her shoulders are too much.

There’s a lot going on with this look. The blouce with a scarf like drape collar, and floating sleeves. Then the busy pattern on the skirt. Then the lace trim and elevated hem on the skirt. Not one of Maxima’s better looks. Though her hair and make up is lovely.

  9. Two interesting pieces on the Queen but I think they'd both be better as part of different outfits. The top perhaps with some simple pants and "mod" shoes. The skirt might be nice with a simple one colour knit top.

I guess what I'm seeing 2 busy pieces that fight with each other a bit. And as always, I'd like to see a break from pumps. So many great shoe designers, so little royal love.
