On June 7, 2025, King Felipe and Queen Letizia presided over the main commemorative event for Armed Forces Day 2025 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which included the participation of members from the three branches of the Armed Forces and the Civil Guard. The central celebration is held in a different city each year. Since 1987, Armed Forces Day has been observed on the Saturday closest to May 30, the feast day of Saint Ferdinand, the King.
This day also serves to recognize the efforts of service members stationed abroad on international missions, as well as those involved in ongoing surveillance, security, and presence operations in strategic areas—highlighting values such as service, and duty.

Me parece muy cruel exigir el uso de tacones altos a una persona que sufre grandes problemas en los pies. La reina Letizia se pone el calzado que puede soportar y hace ya mucho tiempo que dijo adiós a los stilettos.

Letizia has been wearing them for several summers already. They are elegant and summery with a bit of height and a stable heel and I think they look fantastic with this beautiful dress. - Mary

Her sandals are feminine and show off her delicate ankles. Perfect blue clutch to pick up the embroidery color. This is a perfect skirt length for ladies of any size.
ReplyDeleteThis dress is beautiful, the cut and style. Fit is perfect. The embroidery adds to the overall look, love the addition of the pale blue clutch, lifting the color of the embroidery. Not so sure of the white shoes, style wise there okay, but the white color!

Queen Letizia's dress has a good length, the model on the picture her dress is too long. Nothing wrong with the white sandals. They are still available in almost all the brands of summer sandals for ladies and in all colors. Since they have block heels they are ideal for her feet. No need to continue the discussion of wearing high heels are better with this dress or that outfit. The Queen must wear what she feels is comfortable on her feet. We must not discuss what would be better or lovelier (total waist of time) she is the only one who can feel what is right for her. I like her in this dress, beautiful embroidery.
