I love Carolina Herrera designs, she hits the mark on this dress. Feminine, nice sleeves suggesting alittle balloon shape. Fit in proportion to her size.
Now the wide long pants, not the best look, hopefully it will end soon and they can all have them altered for a nice fit. Gosh this king is handsome and his clothes fit perfect all the time,

This soft, feminine look with the harmonious colours is much more flattering than the trouser suits the queen seems to fancy. I never realised that the king is so tall, but this photo makes it very visible.

    1. I also love dresses - I often wear dresses myself - but then I think beauties like Letizia, Mary and Catherine can wear everything and look good. If the pantsuits don't have these current very wide legs they can be elegant.

  3. This dress is lovely. The colour is great, and the styling flattering and elegant. The length is fine for the lower heeled shoes Queen Letizia is forced to wear. There are some lovely dresses among the students in the final photo

This is a nice and elegant dress, I cannot say why I don't really like it on Queen Letizia, but I don't. Maybe my eyes are accustomed to proportions in high heels with this slim cut and this dress length. The visible part of the legs of very slim women look somehow ... well, too slim, with this length. Better the length just under the knee. I also miss a necklace with this very high closed neckline. - Unlike most of you, I like her very much in trouser suits, also with wide legs, if not extremely wide.

I see the length being just a few inches too long which just exaggerates her thinness, and the proportion looks off. I do like her in trouser suits if they are tailored to her.
