On May 14, 2025, King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted the second garden party of the year at Buckingham Palace in London. The event celebrated individuals from the education and skills sector and was attended by Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson. The King and Queen welcomed 7,000 representatives from various educational fields to Buckingham Palace.
Garden parties have been a tradition since the 1860s, serving as a way for the British monarch to recognize outstanding community members for their contributions.
For the occasion, Queen Camilla wore a crepe silk dress by British designer Anna Valentine, adorned with the Queen Elizabeth’s diamond Jardine Star brooch, and a Philip Treacy hat.
Super élégants tous les deux - Magnifique broche ; j'aime bien voir le roi porter un petit gilet qui apporte une touche en plus !
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks beautiful, the brooch is stunning.
ReplyDeleteQ. C. is so good with these wide hats!
ReplyDeleteI love the Queen in white.
ReplyDeleteWhite is her best colour, IMHO. (Black is good too, with a bit of embellishment maybe.) And these wide hats (but not the furry winter ones :-) are simply the best on her.
ReplyDeleteOnce again a beautiful dress
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely in her signature look with a twist. The angle to the side closing is a nice change. Certainly white is her coulour
ReplyDeleteBoth Camilla and CP Mette-Marit wear white really well. It suits their blonde hair and is a classically elegant colour.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful dress on Camilla not only because of the colour, but because of the wonderful cut and fit. The large white hat (which she also wears really well) gives an overall light and floaty look, perfect for the warmer summer weather.
I also love the diamond Jardine star brooch.

She looks fantastic! Her signature dress but the craft is so nicely done that elevates the dress. Her big hat are definitely a hit and the brooch is divine. She looks like a fairy queen...wait she is the queen!
