On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima paid a regional visit to Lopikerwaard and Vijfheerenlanden in the province of Utrecht. The King and Queen began the visit in Montfoort, where they were welcomed by Mrs. Petra van Hartskamp, the mayor of Montfoort. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima also visited Cheese Farm Verweij, a three-generation family business located in Polsbroek.
Later, the King and Queen visited Vijfheerenlanden, where they were welcomed by Mayor Sjors Fröhlich of the municipality. In a traditional Jan Plezier carriage drawn by horses, the King and Queen Máxima were taken from Ameide to Tienhoven aan de Lek, where they visited the workshop of Meesters IN, a part of Royal Woudenberg.

ردحذفInteresting that Queen Mathilde wore an almost identical Natan skirt/blouse ensemble recently. Queen Maxima wears it better, probably due to her different body proportions. I like the pill box hat, but think the shade of color is off a bit. However, I am still not a big fan of Natan and wish both ladies would find other "go-to" designers.

حذفBeautiful colours on Queen Maxima and the style of the skirt works well for her. The tailoring of the top is not good. Not sure what the Natan group has such difficulty with basic tailoring.
ردحذفThe hat and earrings are nice but both seem to be a tone or two off from the top. I'd suggest either being more precise with the match or to go to a other colour completely. The shoes are fine with the skirr but it would be nice to see a more up-to-date shoe style.
