On May 2, 2025, Swedish King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia, together with Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard, attended the UK-Sweden Life Sciences Symposium at the Royal Society in London. Upon arrival, the King, Queen, and Foreign Minister were welcomed by Dame Julie Maxton, Executive Director of the Royal Society, and Sir Mark Walport, Vice President of the Royal Society.
J'aime beaucoup le style de ce chemisier imprimé porté par dessus son pantalon Bordeaux !
ReplyDeleteQ. Silvia looks lovely here. The top is a great colour and a very flattering fit. I'm so impressed that she came on this trip in spite of her recent surgery. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteking is lucky to have a dedicated consort
DeleteThe Queen looks lovely. I love the color combination. The blouse, is pretty, I love the addition of the brooch. Her pants look good, love the color. Her clutch is a splendid color.
ReplyDeleteQueen Silvia looks marvelous--the colors really suit her. I would love to have her blouse! I am so impressed that she has made this trip, especially after attending the Pope's funeral and the big celebrations for King CG's recent birthday. She's had surgery recently on her foot and all the walking, standing, and flying has to be painful for her. Talk about a super trooper! I've had foot surgeries and they are a painful recovery and those orthopedic shoes are very uncomfortable. She is a remarkable lady!

Hello, @Janet.
DeleteI didn't know about Q.Silvia surgery, so sorry to hear about that.
I do wish the Queen and you a speedy and complete recovery.
Other than that, a remarkable Symposium, well done to all of them.
@ Janet
DeleteOrthopedic shoes are supposed to be comfortable. If they are not, maybe you did not have the right shoes adapted to your feet problems.
Lovely blouse, nice contrast to the pants.

What I like is she added that little bit of jewelry to elevate the outfit. Not easily done given the pattern of the blouse, very regal.
