Iceland’s President Halla Tómasdóttir is undertaking a State Visit to Sweden at the invitation of King Carl XVI Gustaf. She is accompanied by her spouse, Björn Skúlason; Iceland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir; Minister for Health, Alma Möller; and a delegation from the business sector.
King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia officially welcomed President Halla Tómasdóttir and her spouse, Björn Skúlason, at the Royal Stables for a procession to the Royal Palace. Following the welcoming ceremony, the King and Queen hosted a luncheon at the Royal Palace in honor of the Icelandic Presidential couple. Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, and Prince Carl Philip were also in attendance.
Wow Victoria! I rarely think what she is wearing is absolutely perfect, but this suit is fantastic! The cut, length, color and fit are superb. This understated suit says so much more to me than any floral dress she has. From what I can see, her hat looks like a very good choice to compliment her suit.

1- La Reine est élégante dans ce tailleur-pantalon de couleur blanche, dont j’aime la l’originalité de la coupe du blazer.
Par ailleurs, le port de ce qui semble être une cape (ou que sais-je) apporte une touche de couleur, il est vrai.
Mais, il n’embellit nullement sa tenue, au contraire.
2-Cette robe manteau change des tenues auxquelles la Princesse Victoria nous a habitués. Elle est appropriée.
Mais j’estime qu’elle est perfectible. À mon avis, si cette robe était plus marquée au niveau de la taille et d’une longueur genoux, elle aurait été meilleure.
Estelle ressemble beaucoup à sa maman (j’ai remarqué cela en observant la princesse Victoria).
Bon séjour en Suède à Madame la présidente islandaise et à son époux. Je suis persuadée que cette famille royale est un hôte des plus charmants.

ردحذفCPV lovely coat, perfect fit. The suit the queen is wearing is nice however I am not keen on the way it falls in the front. Perhaps it is the way she is standing, or perhaps the white is not the best colour for her.

ردحذفLove CP Victoria's white coat fits perfectly. Queen Silvia's white pant suit is not a good idea. The fit does nothing for her. She is not looking as good as before. I think she has still much pain in her foot. The icelandic president is dressed less to my taste than on other state visits she did in the past.
ردحذفVictoria looks fabulous! Great coat dress and great fit. I like Queen Silvia's suit and feel certain that it would look better minus her necessary footwear. President Tomasdottir looks good in her suit. I love how the President and Queen Silvia are both wearing such jaunty hats.
