Queen Sonja Attends the Opening of the ‘At the King’s Table’ Ceramics Exhibition

On May 27, 2025, Queen Sonja of Norway attended the opening of the second part of the exhibition “At the King’s Table – From Tableware to Contemporary Ceramics” in the Riding Hall at the Queen Sonja Art Stable. Princess Astrid was also present for the occasion. The first part of the exhibition was opened by the Queen on February 6.

The exhibition at Queen Sonja’s Art Stable initially focused on tableware—primarily referring to dinner services used by the Royal House for official meals, from 1815 to the present day. It has now been expanded to include contemporary ceramics by artists Torbjørn Kvasbø, Irene Nordli, Paul Scott, and Marit Tingleff.
