Wow...two beautiful pieces, though I admit I would not have worn them together. The pretty cape hides the lovely styled vest and collar underneath, though Rania makes this paired look work very well. The cape in a lighter colour would also have looked lovely.

Wow. Great look, imo. Quite unusual, but it works. — Jane

She looks beautiful of course, but what is the purpose of the Prada cape? The third product photo looks like the hem line is simply cut but unfinished?,… so just an incredibly expensive piece of material with no thermal properties?

The combination is nonsensical for me, none of the two pieces seem to work, because the cape hides what she wears under it and the cape itself is - well what is the added value besides covering her arms, but if she wants to cover her arms, she could wear something else. The cape on the model does not work for me either, I see some randomly put together pieces of fabric with some of them being transparent and others not. A good example that being extravagant does not mean that it works.

  7. I add my voice to the questions about the purpose of the little cape. The only idea which comes to my mind, in view of an event in a Islamic country, is that it may be recommended to show only minimum parts of skin, but only a guess.

For me I like both pieces but the colours don’t quite add up, perhaps too dark. I am guessing the cape is to make the otherwise structured masculine looking suit a bit more feminine. A very different look, not sure if I like it that much.

For those who don't understand the purpose of the cape, it is for modesty. Culturally, she does not expose a lot of skin. As for the comment above about the cape having no thermal properties, clothes do not have to have a functional purpose. They are for appearances as well. That is called fashion.

Paloma.
