On May 13, 2025, Queen Letizia of Spain held a working meeting with representatives of the organizations that signed the proposed State Pact "Protecting Children and Adolescents in the Digital Environment," at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid. The initiative outlines a series of consensus-based measures aimed at establishing a State Pact during Spain’s new legislative term and its presidency of the European Union.
The Queen presided over the meeting, which brought together representatives of the entities promoting the pact. The initiative seeks to address the growing risks that minors face on the internet and social media platforms. Issues such as access to inappropriate content, exposure to violence, bullying and sexual harassment, anxiety, and depression were among the concerns discussed during the session.
J'ai tout de suite remarqué la veste style Chanel de couleur corail de la dame à côté de Letizia !
ReplyDeleteThis suit is way too big for Letizia. It's not flattering at all because she is overwhelmed by too much fabric. The style is shapeless, the beige color is boring, the top inside does nothing to help the overall dull look. I think it looks better on the model with the more striking striped top.
ReplyDeleteSandra, I agree that the suit looks a size too big! I see it’s currently fashionable to have trousers scraping the floor - but I really don’t like the inbuilt waste of deliberately damaging clothes which the floor will do - so I do not like this current idea. The suit jacket I suspect is how the manufacturer intended, but better fitted looks much better. Letizia nevertheless looks businesslike and beautiful.
DeleteWould agree that this is a rare miss for Letizia. Her petite frame definitely needs a more fitted jacket.
DeleteQuite agree.
DeleteWhat a great working meeting!
ReplyDeleteKudos to Queen Letizia and all the organizations involved.
And yes, let's talk about bullying, for example...
This indeed is an important topic and it’s good to see real action around the concept at the appropriate level. Others have talked about it, but that’s all they’re doing. It needs action and coordination across countries.
DeleteFor me, the suit is oversized, which is fashion just now, but it is not shapeless or formless. It is just at a maximum of being oversized that is wearable for a slim woman like Letizia. I don't feel that she is overwhelmed, I mean everybody looks slightly overwhelmed who is following this fashion. Thank goodness her trousers do not seem to clean the floor, they are just shy of that additional functionality. The white top showcases the very elegant natural colour of the fabric of her suit beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI agree, though I would of preferred a pop of colour somewhere, like a scarf or necklace.
DeleteJacket is too wide for her. The double breasted blazer is overwhelming her thin frame.
ReplyDeleteLetizia has an enviable petite figure. She doesn’t suit the oversized jackets. She looks better in slim fitted jackets.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
I realise this is the fashion, baggy, oversized, but on this ocasion, I don't like this pantsuit. It envelopes the Queen's small frame.
ReplyDeleteNot a very flattering look for Queen Letizia!
