On May 20, 2025, King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited Canada House in London to mark the 100th anniversary of the building’s opening in the UK. Canada House was officially opened in June 1925. The King and Queen are scheduled to make a state visit to Ottawa next week. Ahead of their trip, they toured Canada House—the headquarters of Canada’s diplomatic mission in the UK, located on Trafalgar Square in London.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will arrive in the Canadian capital on Monday afternoon, where they will participate in a community engagement in Ottawa. On Tuesday, the King will deliver a speech at the State Opening of Parliament, marking the first time a British monarch has attended the event since the Queen Elizabeth II in 1977. For her visit to Canada House, Queen Camilla wore a cream crepe silk dress in a floral print by Fiona Clare.
The word that comes to mind is "pleasant". For me, this is one of Camilla's better dresses. It is perfect for a spring day.

ReplyDeleteI think this is a rewear as I seem to remember seeing it before... Whether it is or not, I love this dress. The style is light and fresh, the colours are so pretty for Sprint and the fabric print is beautiful. It reminds me of Victorian or Edwardian wall designs but in a good way. Best of all, Camilla looks very good (and happy) wearing it.
