On April 28, 2025, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited The Lighthouse in Aldershot to officially open the charity’s latest hub, which supports those in need. Upon her arrival, the Duchess, who is Patron of the organization, was greeted outside the community centre. She first became involved with the charity in November 2022 and has since devoted much of her time volunteering at The Lighthouse.
The charity, which has hubs across Surrey and Hampshire, helps a wide range of people, including those experiencing loneliness. It also provides support to individuals with mental or physical health issues, victims of domestic violence, and refugees. In partnership with Aldershot’s food bank, the ‘Grub Hub,’ the food larder provides emergency food supplies.

حذفI like the collar of the blouse very much wearing with a suit jacket. This is a lovely outfit for Sophie - or anyone!
ردحذفFinally! Well tailored/fits well and she looks very nice. A long time coming for Sophie's daywear. I admittedly was afraid to see the entire outfit, for fear of perfect upper portion with very strange trousers. And at first, I thought "Here she goes again!" because I assumed the multi-color vertical stripes were on her.
ردحذفThis is quite lovely. The white shirt really pops under the navy. The jacket is better suited open.I think Duchess Sophie would be better suited to single breasted jackets rather than double. My one quibble is the shoes. A navy shoe would have really perfected the look,giving it a fluid finish.

I agree about the color of the shoes. I don't care for the purse. If she wanted to wear brown shoes, then she should have paired them with the tan and ivory stripped sweater she wore previously with this suit. Agree the suit looks much better unbuttoned that pulling at the breast when buttoned. A better Max Mara choice than the green floral.

Bon choix ce costume bleu marine et cette chemise blanche, c'est simple et chic, impeccable. Cette coiffure lui va aussi très bien. Elle est très jolie sur la dernière photo, penchée vers le bébé. Paloma.
ردحذفHer hair starts to look like Maxima's. She should go easy on the bleaching very bad for her hair. On the last picture with the striped T-shirt her hair is looking much better and healthier.

حذفSes racines sont plus foncés que le reste de ses cheveux. Ses sourcils sont maquillées brun avec un crayon ou autre produit pour sourcils.
At least she’s not wearing one of her usual shapeless long dresses … although it’s a remarkably boring look
