King Frederik and Queen Mary are on a two-day state visit to Finland at the invitation of the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb. On the second day of their visit, the King and Queen, together with President Alexander Stubb and his spouse, Suzanne Innes-Stubb, visited Arkki School of Architecture for Children and Youth, which aims to introduce children and young people to the world of architecture in a creative and educational way.
Afterwards, King Frederik and Queen Mary, along with President Alexander Stubb and Mrs. Innes-Stubb, visited the Espoo Museum of Modern Art (EMMA). During their visit, the King and Queen toured the museum and inaugurated a permanent exhibition featuring 15 paintings by Danish artist Poul Gernes.
Later, the King and Queen, together with the President and Mrs. Innes-Stubb, visited Aalto University, where they were welcomed at the Micronova building by the university’s President, Ilkka Niemelä. The King and Queen learned about the university's research, including Finland's first quantum computer and satellite projects.

حذفI agree the coat is not beautiful when worn with too wide pants. She should also wear a black top underneath because all the rest is black, buttons, handbag, pants and boots. She could replace the buttons of her coat in the same color as the fabric then she could wear i.e. grey pants, shoes, handbag, etc.... with the coat.

Blue and purple in all their shades are just two of the hit colours of the season and Queen Mary is a contemporary lady living in the present.
Thankfully, she is no elderly person bemoaning all the time.
You can better have a style of your own than follow the new collections, they change all the time and it cost you a lot of money.

For most of us when we put on a wool coat, it is not perfectly matched with the outfit underneath, because it’s purpose is to keep us warm - stylishly if possible. In this example I think Mary has put the coat on for warmth but intended to take it off to reveal the beautiful grey outfit underneath. When she hasn’t taken it off, it does look suboptimal with the very wide trousers - but it nevertheless is a very nice coat and I wouldn’t demand that the outfit below must match the outer garment necessarily.
