Nice, Prince Louie's photos of his mother are very good, he may step into his mother's shoes. I like the message.

Sorry I don’t understand what is meant by these photos or statement. If Louie took this photo, he did a good job of keeping the camera straight, and centering the princess. Very dark vibes

This is not a creepy or eerie photo. It is winter in a forest. It can't be warm and sunny all the time. I think this is a photo that could only have been captured by one of her children, and it is fun and lovely. It looks celebratory to me. This is to honor World Cancer Day. As happens so often here, the point has been missed.

  9. Mmh, I don't understand the picture, too dark, unusual posture, nevertheless i'm assuming it has special significance to them and that's what counts.

  10. Given the fact that Catherine was reviled for her minor photoshopping of the last family photo, I'm sure she wanted no criticism this time. Plus, the photo was taken by her 6-year-old son - is she supposed to tell Louis that the photo's no good???. I love the angle - it's not creepy. Catherine is breathing in the healing powers of nature on a cold winter's day. She looks triumphant and as if she is saying, "FU, cancer!"

Sorry, I haven't got much time.
The majority of the comments here sound truly creepy and senseless though they do not come as unexpected to me.
The picture and Princess Kate's words are highly symbolic and moving.
    No brainer to interpret them
It's all about a personal cancer journey, from darkness to light and a new Life as a second chance.
The most powerful message of resilience and hope for all cancer smitten patients.
Anyway, I just want to attach an article on hidden meanings and many more can be found on the net.

Thank you for the link to a very informative article. It adds so much context to the photo by Louis.

Nothing senseless in different people having different opinions.I too think the stark winter woods can make for a slightly creepy photo. This even if a bit creepy is however likely just a photo by a little boy of his mother and there is nothing much symbolic about that except love. Go Louis!

P.the Original: having not much time is no excuse and not of importance for us, as is the mentioning of Louis as the one who took the picture. It will be nice to remember for the parents, but for me a picture is good or not, independent of who took it.
In this case: the picture can be seen in many different ways, so: not so good?

Ha 14:31, I also noted that commenter wrote about not having much time and i wondered at the relevance! As if it were an obligation to write here, at that time? (versus not commenting or commenting later or just a nice short comment ?!)…

I think this is an example of reading too much into a comment, just as a lot of people are reading negative things into a picture. I didn't take P. the original's comment in any other way than "these are my immediate thoughts". I can appreciate that P. understood and accepted the spirit in which the picture was posted. Not everything has to be judged. This has been a very personal journey for Kate and her family, and she should not be told her artistic expression of that is wrong. That includes saying that the mention of Louis as the photographer is unimportant. Kate's children must have been deeply effected by her diagnosis. It is important that they be part of the celebration of her life cancer free as well.

Anonymous 14:31 and at other times

Before you go on with your tirade in instalments plus your self- explanations of some kind, I just want to inform you that this post is not about P. the original but about the pic and words delivered by the Princess of Wales.
The focus is not on my comment above but on the hidden meanings lying beneath Kate's powerful messages.
    Got It?
Why do you struggle so much to understand my comment/s?
It's a given that some people cannot linger on this blog 24/24 hours a day like you do cause they have to work and live in the real world as well.
    That's what I meant :
"Sorry, I haven't got much time to drop more articulated lines.
I can just say how I'm feeling briefly and I want to share an article I found on the net with you all".
It was understood that Louis took the pic and that's heartwarming cause it means that he too wants to take part in her mum' s healing process(also through her constant contact with nature) and is thrilled about this great improvment in his mothers health conditions.
Why should have I mentioned a six- year -old innocent child that has surely been so deeply affected by his mum' s life threatening illness?
He may not have realized what his mum' was experiencing but all this must have had a huge emotional impact on him and his siblings.
Of course, the Princess herself said that her cancer journey was scaring, just like walking on ropes and you do not know what is awaiting for you( my interpretation)
The image above shows a clear transition from the darkness of cancer to a new Life, from being in control of an unknown enemy to freedom .
Yes, she's embracing her new Life with open arms as a sign of victory just like a warrior returning home after battling his worst enemy.
You must like the word " lengthy" as I have seen in some of your comments about me
Someone who can writes, just writes and develops his/ her thoughts in an organized, articulated way.
What about organizing and corroborating what you write with valid points too giving substance to your words?
The length of comments has no relevance.
    Substance is all that matters.
You know, your first impressiona can often be misleading.
What about elaborating other people's words before you rush to reply without getting it all wrong?

    You're welcome.
You know, basically I think that inflexibility stems from a lack of insight and cultural background.
As far as other weird comments on other posts are concerned, I feel that their missing the mark depends mainly on a lack of cultural sensitivity too.
Unfortunately, living only in a dimension of one's own and being unable or unwilling to widen one's knowledge and experience range can only lead to a sad kind of self- isolation.

I agree with you—it’s so important to have an open mind and a sense of cultural awareness. Without that, it's easy to miss the bigger picture or make assumptions that aren’t reflective of the broader context.

I agree with you about other's perceptions of fashion, art and life in general. When we live in a bubble of our own making, we can develop lack of incite and tolerance for things that are outside of our bubble.
