On January 30, 2025, Queen Máxima of The Netherlands visited Woonzorgpark De Hartenberg in Wekerom, part of the healthcare organization 's Heeren Loo, for a strategy meeting of the National Coalition for Financial Health (NCFG). This coalition is a partnership of more than fifty companies and government organizations committed to improving the financial health of their employees and customers.
Heeren Loo is one of the largest healthcare providers in the Netherlands, with 17,000 employees and 15,000 clients. Stichting SchuldenlabNL was established in 2018 as a collaboration between public and private entities, aiming to make the Netherlands debt-free. Since 2022, Queen Máxima has been actively involved in this initiative as honorary president.
I like the Alpaca pink coat on Queen Maxima. She styled it better than on the model. The wide pants are looking better under the coat than the white cropped pants on the model. The white open summer shoes don't go at all with the cosy winter coat.

حذفWhat a fun coat! I liked it immediately, then saw it was Oscar de la Renta. No wonder! I think I would have liked black accessories with this much more. Black and pink are a classic combination. I think a more elegant shoe or boot would have looked better than the boots she is wearing.

حذفLove this pink alpaca coat--it's gorgeous! Queen Maxima looks wonderful in pink--her coat and outfit look good together. But--her choice of shoes!!! No, no, no--they are so clunky and do not work with this lovely pink ensemble. We all know that Maxima has a large shoe/boot collection to have made a different choice that would have been a better choice.

ردحذفI love the coat - such gorgeous fabric - but I think it should be the star of the show. For once I do not like the monochrome look. Cream full length trousers with the pink sweater worn by the model would be stunning. I do like the tan coloured accessories, even though the shoes seem a bit clunky. (V.M.)

I don't like this all-pink look. Maybe if the coat was matched with black pants and accessories... She's all wrinkled up and disheveled. Her hair is terrible.

I think the bag and shoes coordinate just fine. Grey or black would also have worked and been stunning -,but in a way the browns are less startling and allow the pink to really blossom …

Like a strawberry ice cream. 🍦 I think , as suggested above some grey or black would have improved the look or even a brown top or trousers to match the accessories. ردحذفIf she would have worn high stiletto shoes she would have comments from those who think that every queen or princess should wear lower and block heels like Queen Letizia since her feet problems. Well now Queen Maxima is wearing larger boots with lower and thicker heels. She might feel the need to wear now and then a more comfortable shoe. Queen Mathilde is almost wearing all the time high heels and she is also receiving systematically the same comments from the same person.
I do understand that not everyone can like the same colors but a warm cosy winter coat by Oscar de la Renta does not deserve all these negative comments.
It are always the same bloggers who cannot hidden the fact they do not like Queen Maxima and feel the need to underline extra the fact that Maxima's hair is not ALWAYS good, etc... There are royal ladies whose hair is NEVER good : or we do not repeat it each time they are on this blog or we skip to give a comment and scroll down to the next item.
Since she undertakes some visits again Princess Catherine is rewearing her high heels too and nobody has comments on that. She has the right to wear whatever she likes too just like any other royal lady. I am sure Queen Letizia would not want that her colleagues should wear the same low shoes she does. She adapted well her dress style and new shoe style to her feet problems. Besides did anyone of you looked at the latest fashion shoes. They are getting more and more clunky. The soles are getting thicker and thicker and the short boots are looking more and more like army gear, as well in the expensive brands as in the less expensive ones.
To end I cannot wait for the winter to get over quickly so that we can wear again lighter outfits and lighter footware.

حذفI think the problem with Maxima's hair is known by everyone now.
ردحذفUnless she is using extensions every day and call for a professional hairstylist she will always have bad hair. Everyone knows by now that using extensions every day is not good for your natural hair. So what must she do ? She is doing a silly updo sometimes, but that does not solve her problem. She could also stop to dye her hair blond but then her dark natural hair mixed with some grey hair will appear. I can imagine this is not what Queen Maxima wants either. It is so easy to judge other people but when one has to come with solutions, nobody find one. So let the decision to the queen, she is the only one who knows what's best for her.
