Anne looks so youthful in this white pants and lovely blouse. I just wish for a more modern and youthful hairstyle.

Warumm immer diese Gemecker über die Frisur? P. Anne wird sich schon etwas dabei denken, z. B. no fuss!

Oh come now, at age 74 we don’t need a “youthful” hairstyle. Youth is for the youth and going graciously into old age is a wonderful way to do it. Looking younger is a goal for some - but shouldn’t be required of all!

Anne has had this same hairstyle for the last 50-60+ years. She's not about to change it now. I don't think she could if she wanted to. I think it's frozen in place. I have no doubts it looks this way 24/7 - while sleeping, showering, etc. It just never moves. :-) The last time she did anything different was in the 1960s. She actually had a really cute short haircut at one point that highlighted the natural curl in her hair; circa 1966 if anyone wants to Google pics of it. The length was just below her ears and she looked lovely. But after it grew out I don't think she ever got another haircut and just kept doing this "style." In some ways I think it's her "security blanket" and one of the constants in her life.

Very nice outfit lovely fit, suits her personality so well. Her hair, well it is not the easiest to tame. Those crinkly strands are just about impossible to manage without alot of fuss, I have them too.

This is such a flattering outfit for PA and it’s perfect for this casual event. I see she has her trusty sport sunglasses too! Like others I’d love to see her with a new, modern hairstyle but I doubt that it will happen. (V.M.)

  4. C'est un plaisir de voir la princesse Anne portant cette sorte de tunique imprimée très rafraîchissante sous le climat d'Afrique du Sud ; j'adore la dernière photo où nous la voyons faire un câlin à un superbe cheval !

It's not often that I get to make a comment like this, but I love what P.Anne is wearing today. Cool and comfortable, and she looks very good.

Très joli chemisier qui lui va bien, c'est parfait avec un pantalon blanc.
Difficile de dire si une autre coiffure lui conviendrait. J'ai du mal à l'imaginer avec des cheveux courts. Son chignon c'est un peu sa signature. Paloma.

Good to see her as always. She really suits this casual outfit and what a fab figure she has for a woman of 74. I'm very envious

    1. It’s not because you are in your seventhy’s you have to be fat and ugly, you just have to look after yourself, sometimes elderly women forget it.

Greet, you could not be more wrong in blaming women for „forgetting“ about being slim

The Princess Royal looks fabulous here! I love her blouse and the white trousers-perfect for the summertime in South Africa. Her figure is enviable for any woman--at least to me! So sad that her husband to cancel at the last minute due to an injury needing medical treatment.

I have always admired Princess Anne's no nonsense approach and her work ethic. She is definitely her Mothers Child and actually would make for a great head of state. Although William seems to have his head screwed on the right way. The Royal family is still the best example for ethics and behaviour.
