As the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA), Queen Maxima of the Netherlands is visiting Singapore to attend the 2024 FinTech Festival, taking place from November 6 to 8. The conference, held at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Center, focuses on technological innovations in financial services (FinTech).
On Wednesday, Queen Maxima attended the opening of the FinTech Festival. Later, she opened the 'Global Fintech Hackcelerator,' an initiative aimed at improving financial health. The hackcelerator is a competition for representatives of FinTech companies and financial service providers. Queen Maxima also attended a meeting with Singapore's President Tharman Shanmugaratnam at the Istana presidential palace.

ردحذفIf you’ve spent some time working in Singapore you might understand! Inside you freeze in too cold aircon and once you step out you need to rip off your jacket. This ensemble appears perfect for this ! Also, because the weather is essentially the same all year but that’s a bit boring fashion wise, there are “winter styles” that come in and whether she knows that or not, this couldn’t fit in better with the local business scene! I think Maxima looks fantastic and am always impressed to hear her speak on finance and justice topics - Grace

Alone is always in her capacity as ambassador for the UN. WA is not allowed to have these kind of international functions

The pattern is too busy and her hair is too messy. Both are unattractive. Some may say there is no need to keep talking about her hair. I disagree. As long as she continues to represent her country with hair like this....I will continue to talk about it.

You must lead a very boring life. Maybe volunteering your time at a charity would help give you other things to focus on than Maxima's hair. She represents her country by her actions, not her hair.

حذفI agree with you. Instead of criticizing Queen Maxima's hair and outfit maybe "R" could do something like volunteer work in her own region. Then she wouldn't have the time to look up where Queen Maxima is appearing and discuss her hair. And if you really are worried about the hairstyle of the royal ladies, there are more with bad hairstyles, or even worse, than Maxima.

ردحذفOne will never know how they spend their money. Surely not entirely on clothes for her and/or the princesses. It is O.K. for me and it is not of my or anyone else's business. As a finance specialist she surely knows the value of money, since she is wearing regularly older outfits and she learns her daughters to wear regularly something that belonged to her.

ردحذفI'm still iffy about this outfit--it still reminds me of stadium blanket. It also looks a bit too big for her. Very glad Queen Maxima kept her accessories limited to pearls as the outfit is busy enough.
