On November 5, 2024, MUDAM hosted the 2024 Edward Steichen Awards for Contemporary Art, presented every two years to emerging European talents. Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg, alongside Minister Éric Thill, attended the ceremony at the Grand Duke Jean Museum of Modern Art (MUDAM) in Luxembourg.
The Edward Steichen Awards is a biennial initiative supporting emerging European talents in contemporary art. The Princess presented the awards to two young emerging artists: Marianne Villière (Edward Steichen Award) and Clio Van Aerde (Edward Steichen Luxembourg Resident Award). The laureates will soon depart for New York for artistic residencies of six and four months, respectively.
I think Stephanie’s outfits have really improved lately. The colour coordination here is very good, and both the top and skirt seem to fit her well. Pairing the soft feminine blouse with the graphic patterned skirt is very interesting. I love the whole look! (V.M.)

ردحذفI'm getting the impression that Stephanie is gradually getting ready for big things to come next year - bigger presence, bigger role to play, bigger responsibilities and a bigger function overall. We know from recent reports that this is realistic to expect given some of the current Grand Duke's announcements, so I'm glad to see the changes she is making. She looks great here, and for the past few events she has attended.

I think your comment is rude. She didn't had children immediately after she got married. There has been rumours that she had difficulties to get pregnant. Now that she has lovely children it is not very polite and surely not of your business that she might be pregnant again. Well educated people are not making such comments.
حذفLovely skirt, but the blouse tucked in like that is not working for her. Maybe a short top or jacket that is just covering the waist area would be nice. Or better, I think she should stay away of large skirts and wear dresses in one piece or pant suits like yesterday. Although the curls are vanished, her hair is still looking good.

ردحذفShe looks "big" because she is not small. Not even thin. So what, spend a whole life wanting to look something else than what you are? What we see is a tummy, nothing to be ashamed of (just look at her husband :-)).

ردحذفHow lovely Stephanie is looking--the color of the blouse is very becoming to her and her hair is sensational. Sorry but I really do not like the skirt (I know it is probably my aversion to big prints). I don't think it flatters her at all--the big splotches of the print don't really flatter anyone. I agree with others that she has suddenly (or so it appears) stepped up her fashion and style--and I too think its because of the changes that are to happen in terms of her role. She really is a pretty lady and I am glad to see the frumpiness is going away (I know she has 2 small children but I have never thought that was the reason her clothes were too many times less than flattering).
