The Christmas season in Denmark began with the reopening of The Nutcracker ballet at Tivoli. The guest of honor for the evening was Queen Margrethe, who served as both the set designer and costume designer for the production. Also attending the reopening were King Frederik, Queen Mary, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent, Princess Josephine, Count Felix, Queen Sonja, Princess Benedikte, and Queen Anne-Marie.

What a treat to see the Nutcracker with the Danish RF. Q Margrethe is a very talented Artist. I must say no little Josephine and Vincent. The children are beautiful young people and so grown up. Great outfits just love it.

ردحذف* Isabella. What a color! A bit of autumn warmth. The small bag, what a quirk, took immediately my attention.
* Josephine. Her coat has quirky buttons and a lovely shawl collar ( we can see a little of the blouse underneath.
* Q Mary. Nice white woolen coat, it looks soft, modern and comfortable to wear.
I hope some of Queen Margarithe will inherit her creative genes!

Je crois qu'ils revoient chaque année le ballet Casse-Noisette, à la longue ils doivent le connaître par coeur ! Paloma.
Tous font preuve d'élégance mais si cette robe est bien portée par Mary, je n'en suis pas vraiment fan !
ردحذفHow wonderful to see the DRF together at the ballet supporting Queen Margrethe. And Queen Sonja--love that she came to show support too. Isabella and Josephine look lovely--both are wearing pretty coats. Queen Mary looks beautiful in her white coat and the Saloni dress (she seems to really love that dress as she wears it fairly often). I love her choice of the Notkin earrings--they are among my favorites in her jewelry box. I cannot believe how tall Vincent has gotten--almost as tall as his father. Queen Margrethe's purple blouse is gorgeous--and looks wonderful on her.

I like Queen Margrethe's purple blouse (with a pussy bow). It matches her beautiful skirt.
ردحذفI also like Princess Isabella's fuchsia coat although it is a bit too tight around the waist.
Princess Josephine is already taller than her sister. Prince Vincent is still growing. I think he will be a tall prince later.
Queen Mary is rewearing a white coat which is still fashion this winter. Unfortunately the long dress under the shorter coat is something I don't like. If she was wearing trousers like her daughters it would have been much better.
