On june 6, 2024, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden took part in the official celebrations of National Day 2024 at Skansen, which is Stockholm’s open-air museum. In Sweden, the National Day celebrations take place annually on June 6 to commemorate the election of King Gustav Vasa in 1523. The National Day has been celebrated at Skansen every year since 1893.

ردحذفIt's the Sweden costume guess thats why. Don't understand either why they use it, they all have folke costumes that are so much prettier.
حذف@16:51 as far as I know, this folk costume was created to represent the entire country, as opposed to the other ones that are specific to different regions, and to be inexpensive enough that anyone could buy one or recreate it.
