On June 21, 2024, Queen Mary of Denmark hosted the Maratonsang event at Vartov College in Copenhagen. Vartov is an old college in the center of Copenhagen. On the longest day of the year, it is a tradition for hundreds to gather in Vartov College's courtyard in Copenhagen from early morning to late evening to sing together.
The High School Songbook (Højskolesangbogen) is the most popular songbook in Denmark. With the first edition published in 1888 and the latest in 2006, including 572 songs, it is at the center of the Danes’ strong tradition of communal singing.

I remain on the fence about the dress, too big fabric print.

I prefer big flowers not the little printed flowers like on the prairie dresses they used to wear in Sweden a couple of summers ago.

ردحذفThis floral print dress Queen Mary is wearing is a much needed departure from the busy sweet floral pink print dresses many of the other Royal ladies on this site have overwhelmed us with as of late. The earrings are perfect as well and lastly she is my all time favorite Royal and I adore her. Growing up as a little boy when I would read or watch the news about Queen Elizabeth who I admired little did I know there were other amazing Queens in the world too. I thought she was the only Queen!

Oh! Then im a minority, she is definitely a lovely lady and the dress is perfect...but in my opinion, for autumn. I dont think the mail color goes well either and although i like the earrings, I don't like the addition of green.

ردحذفCette longueur, la couleur brun-orangé et les motifs floraux me font penser à ces longues robes fleuries des années 70 qu'on appelait "robe d'hôtesse" (ce qui signifie : "pour accueillir des invités à la maison").
Ma maman portait une robe un peu comme ça, mais pas une marque de luxe bien sûr.
