The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence attended the second day of the Royal Windsor Horse Show 2024 at the Castle Arena in Berkshire. From the time of the first Royal Windsor Horse Show in 1943, Queen Elizabeth was a frequent attendant, where she would enthusiastically watch equestrian events. After her death in 2022, her family members have continued to attend the show in her honor.

  1. Je dis oui pour le blazer de couleur kaki de Sophie mais pas du tout à porter avec ce style de jupe dont le cuir très souple ne donne pas une belle allure !

The kaki blazer is lovely but the skirt is a total miss. I understand one has to wear boots on these surfaces. There are other people wearing boots too (pic N° 8). All in all Duchess Sophie is looking not that bad, in any case better than Princess Anne (with an outdated outfit as usual) and Duchess Sophie has a beautiful smile.

A different skirt would definitely help. The off center gathering at the top doesn't work with a blazer.

Not much to see, sir Tim Lawrence needs a suit that fits properly

    1. Anon 20.20 I noticed Tim's suit as well. I think he has lost weight. Not body shaming at all. I noticed his face, before I looked at the rest of him. I hope he is okay. I like him, a good hubby to the Princess.

  4. P. Edward has his favourite jacket on, Duchess Sophie's khaki jacket tones well with it. Great to see the scarf in her hair feels like a tribute to the late Queen. The ruched leather skirt is definitely not my style but D.Sophie seems to like leather and it's certainly the kind of horse show outfit we see here.

P.Anne looks like herself. Wish she was wearing one of her pairs of tasseled boots to add some zing but she looks pretty standard "horse show lady", a step up from some of the late Queen's outfits.

  5. The Duchess looks to be enjoying herself and in good form. So lovely to see the Duke with her. (He looks well groomed and attired) she looks lovely in her Kaki Blazer, its a good length, like the color. The skirt I'm not so sure about, regardless its lovely to see them both at this event.
The Princess Royal looks well groomed, I like this color on her, suits her well. She looks in her element and happy.

I rather like looking through this classic British horsey outfitting; traditional and probably quite expensive but worn quite casually and for multiple events over the years. For this reason I don’t think Princess Anne looks out of date, but neat and classic; and I think Sophie’s slightly wonky collar and wavy skirt are all lovely and relaxed. (Grace)

Why is Sophie’s badge up on the shoulder, such a simple thing to get correct? Sophie should not wear that colour she is a summer tannings not Autumn, horrible.

I do not care for Sophie’s leather skirt, which does not coordinate very well in color or material with rest of her outfit. Sophie otherwise looks nice. Anne looks true to her usual style and well-groomed.

Seems she reached out and picked some random clothing/footware. Nothing works together, although at least the blazer and the skirt separately are likely good quality pieces. It’s been some time since she looked this unstylish.

Anne is… Anne. Not much else to add.
