On May 3, 2024, Queen Sonja of Norway attended the official opening of the exhibition displaying Italian artist Davide Rivalta's sculptures at Oscarshall in Oslo. A number of animal sculptures have been placed in the park around Oscarshall. The animals were designed in bronze and fiberglass, in life size - or more.
In order to document and reproduce the animal's behavior and habits, Davide Rivalta observes the animals in captivity. He then creates individual portraits of the animals, and places them away from the captivity where he met them.
Davide Rivalta’s works of art are present in several Italian, French and Swiss cities. His works have been exhibited in several Italian museums. He also participated in major shows such as Aichi Triennale (Nagoya 2010), Arte alle Corti (Turin 2016), Triennale di Milano (2019). It is the first time that Rivalta's sculptures are exhibited in Norway.
That's a really modern and trendy shirt that the Queen is wearing.

ReplyDeleteQueen Sonja is looking very lovely in her up to date navy and white outfit. I love the cutouts (if it is what I think it is) in her top. Her necklace and also the ring on her right hand have blue stones. Could they be Lapis Lazuli ? The weather is looking sunny in Norway, it must be not too cold if they can walk in the park without a coat.

The Queen is so stylish and chic. She is a very modern dresser! I love it. The Navy and white is a great combination. Her jewellery is tasteful.
ReplyDeleteShe is an amazing woman. She always nails it with her choice of outfits. She looks fabulous in this outfit. She could teach some of the younger royals how to dress, with cut, lengths and colours.
