This Sunday, May 5, the 10th edition of the COCC Ride cycling race organized by The Champagne and Oyster Cycling Club of Monaco (COCC) took place. The annual the Champagne and Oyster Cycling Club of Monaco charity cycling race is held to raise funds for the benefit of The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.
More than 90 participants raced from Saint-Tropez to Monaco, and the cyclists were welcomed and congratulated on their arrival in Monaco by Princess Charlene. The Princess also joined the street party held after the race.
The funds raised from this annual St Tropez to Monaco charity bike ride will be donated to The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation to help in the development of the awareness program on water safety and the risks of drowning, and to teach children swimming.

There is a “scratch my back and I’ll scratch your back” in the rag trade.
The marketing people who work for the fashion houses will go to all extremes to have a celebrity or a Royal wear one of their creations as it is the equivalent of thousands of dollars for advertising that doesn’t cost them a cent.
They will give their creation on loan or will give it as a gift.
I think a lot of red carpet celebrities use Rent-a-Frock but I don’t think it’s the case for Princess Charlene.
Also red carpet celebrities can get paid by a fashion house for wearing one of their creations. Some top name stars can receive payments starting at six figures.
Business is business, you know.
Yes I had a look at their website as well. Definitely a brand for millionnaires .... but I like almost everything, no danger I would order anything. Charlene knows how to please herself.

She has three very good looking children, Gareth, Sean-Michael and Charlene.
Gareth has an active role in The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.
I think Charlene’s mother spends most of her time in South Africa.

ردحذفDeadeggs has made an excellent point about High Fashion. I understand that the British Royal Family is not permitted to wear garments on loan or as gifts, which I think is a wise policy. In the case of Monaco, it is more than obvious that the princely family is a lucrative, promotional source for the House of Chanel and vica versa. The cape in question probably falls into this category. Charlene’s face looks so much more relaxed, I hope she feels happier.

ردحذفThere has been some critique how extravagant Princess Charlene lives It was reported she spends over 1.28 euros on her wardrobe and jewelry annually so I would think that as wealthy as Prince Albert is she would not have to borrow or receive clothes as a gift. She obviously has a very generous and loving husband. It is so nice to see her so happy and confident as shown in these photos!
