The signed checkered flag will be auctioned to benefit the actions of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. The fund raised will be entirely donated to the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, thus contributing to its projects aiming to combat drowning and promote the education of children through the values of sport.

I have the same wind breaker jacket, but of course mine is not by Louis Vuitton. There are cheaper brands which make exactly the same and almost always in better quality than the expensive brands.

    1. The Louis Vuitton fashion house couldn’t ask for a better model than Princess Charlene to show off the product..
One can’t go much higher with a brand name than Louis Vuitton.
Paris to its back teeth. 100% de luxe.
      Established in 1854 in Paris.
It outstrippes all other luxury brand names in the world for income.
An example of old money and luxury.

Yes, but it does not appeal to me even if I had the money to spend on a brand like that. A parka or wind breaker in navy you can find everywhere and pretty too. I have a parka filled with down by Ralph Lauren. I have it at least 10 years and it is still beautiful after many washes. And I have a silk shawl by Hermes, that I sometimes wear to please my son because he gave it to me for my 50th birthday. I have some other things by less known designers and I am completely happy with what I have. Lately when I buy clothes I always look where it is made and what is the material used to produce it. I am trying to buy more sustainable products and I also buy less new clothes than in the past. Sometimes I go shopping in my own ward robe and I am surprised with what I find. In fashion everything is coming back anyway.
P.S. It is Brigitte Macron's brand. She wears nothing else than Louis Vuitton at least when she is on duty. What she wears in her free time I don't know.

Shaming Louis Vuitton? If the lady can afford it, why not? In spite of what what Anon 11:49 thinks, LV is in deed quality. Just look at all the pieces that are sold on resale markets that are generations old. Having a classic design like this parka, or a Burberry trench, is never going out of style. The difference is a Vuitton is something you will always keep, the same can't be said for all brands. That in itself is sustainability.

    4. Yes, I think she does a lot of shopping with the Louis Vuitton mark but I think she shops around, from time to time, with other top name couturiers.
She is close friends with Bernard Arnault and his wife.
Bernard Arnault is a French mega-billionaire who owns Louis Vuitton and most other luxury brand names in the world.
In 2019 his company bought the American jeweller Tiffany & Co for a sum of 16,2 milliard de dollars.

I would not wish to wear pieces that are sold on resale markets that are generations old. Who knows who wore these clothes ? You are free to think what you want, but all those pieces : handbags, clothes, etc... from big brands like Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, YSL, Hermes..... which are sold second hand, it shows that these are not new pieces, even if they are not used very much. If you compare the new pieces of these brands that are produced now with old pieces that are sold second hand one can see the difference immediately. There is always a difference in color, design, finishing techniques, etc... Even if these brands keep their design (more or less) forever, the possibilities of producing goods in 2024 are much advanced than in 1854. I suppose these brands are also using modern techniques to make their goods and bring them into sale. If they do not, they cannot compete anymore with their colleagues who are using the possibilities that are offered in the 21st century.

    6. Sorry but things are getting a little confused.
@Anon 18:24 said in her comment about Louis Vuitton “ It is Brigitte Macron's brand. She wears nothing else than Louis Vuitton at least when she is on duty. What she wears in her free time I don't know”.
My reply was in relation to Brigitte Macron and not Princess Charlene.
Brigitte Macron is a close friend of Bernard Arnault and his wife.
Bernard Arnault's company is the owner of Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Dior etc.etc.
NOTE: Brigitte Macron is the wife of the French president, Emmanuel Macron.
O.K. the Macrons are not royals but it has been said that after some years in the Elysee Palais in Paris, the president and his wife take on the airs of being a King and Queen.
The Macrons have been in the Elysee Palais for 7 years now.
They will have to move out in about 3 years as a French president can only hold office for a maximum of 10 years.

The president of France Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte are not royals but they are invited by royals on state visit and they invite royals themselves. On each of these visits la première dame Brigitte wears her L. Vuitton creations and she is always looking very good.

@ They do not organize state visits and they are not invited on state visits by other royals. The last time the European royals were invited in Monaco was for the wedding of Prince Albert and Princess Charlene. Sometimes we see a picture of Prince Albert on an event abroad where other royals are showing up too, example : World wide Economic Forum in Davos. Sometimes he is seen in the company of Princess Charlene and the kids on events related to the protection of seas, oceans,... and on exhibitions with subjects like the climate change and environment things.....

I could just hear some of them calling them "that lot down there" 😁😁
