-Dorothe-

Charlene has the height and structure to rock that plaid suit, which is lovely because it is in pretty, pale tones. If it was in darker colours, it would have been too overpowering. The kids look cute, as they always do.

Grateful that Charlene is wearing a touch of colour, thou not her best suit. Caroline is the best sister ever, always supporting her brother. I think white is too pale for Gabriella's skin tone. If only she could dance ballet while she is still young...

    1. O.K. for Prince Albert, BUT why wasn’t there an honorable mention in the Merit for Queen Max and HER outstanding contributions to agriculture whilst visiting Hogeland and its cow shed earlier this week?
Seems to be a bit of antagonism between the royal houses and their agricultural interests at the moment.
I’m getting the impression that there’s something a bit ‘smelly’ down on the farm at the moment.

    2. Je me suis posée tout de suite la question. Je crois pas que le prince Albert ait une quelconque relation avec le monde agricole ; à moins que quelqu'un puisse me donner des éclaircissements ??

The little I know of Prince Albert and his agriculture pursuits, is that his inherited country retreat “Roc Agel” is in fact a working farm with cows, chicken and other farm animals. It’s on the hills behind Monaco.
It's a bit like Marie-Antoinette and her little farm in the grounds of Versailles.
The following link may help you. It is in French ……..

Prince Albert looks proud as punch,as he should be.To have his beautiful wife adorable children and his sister beside him,I’m sure only added to the joy of a memorable day.
I love Charlene suit, she has the physique to carry it off.
I’m amazed at how like their paternal grandparents Jacques and Gabriella look everytime we see them.

  8. Charlène et Caroline sont élégantes même si cela manque un peu de couleurs ; les jumeaux sont trop mignons dont le prince Jacques dans son petit costume cravate !

Nice look all around. Brigitte Macron always in style except the wig, I am not so much for plaid, but I like Charlene's outfit a lot. Caroline is looking very good as well. Alberts jacket is a bit tight. css

    1. His jacket is tight because he need to lose some weight urgently.
At his age with that extra weight and his workload, he's entering into danger zone.
Agree @css with all your positive points.

It's not a wig It's her hair. Stop this. If you don't agree checkbold photos of her. Thick, thick hair..

    3. I don’t think it’s a wig. Maybe some body or attachments to boost up the volume are being used.
If you look back at some older photos of Mme Macron, she had the same colour and longer hair.

  10. The first lady looks good. Charlene looks excellent in this outfit, the structure suits her, with her height she really looks good. Caroline looks elegant. She is very supportive of her brother, lovely to see. The children look adorable.

I’m on my own here! I don’t like the check trouser suit at all. I’d even say ‘bring back the black’ if this is the alternative. The children look superb as always. Prince Jacques is particularly good in his smart suit

The only one looking good and lively is pr. Caroline.
The jacket of the severe suit of Ch. doesnot fit.

  13. Madame Macron, who is 71 years old, often uses the Karl Lagerfeld formula for anti-ageing.
That is, you cover all the body with clothing and leave only the head showing.
The tell tale signs of ageing skin on the neck, arms and legs are hidden by (designer ?) clothing.
He used this on himself in his later years to help hide his age. He was 85 years old.
Although photos can be seen of Mme Macron with short sleeves or sleeveless, it is usually when she has a nice suntan.
She has perfect, but thin legs and it’s not always necessary to do the anti-ageing ‘Lagerfeld’ formula.
She is very much a monochrome-ist with her wardrobe.
Earlier this month, she hosted with her husband a state dinner for the Chinese president and his wife at the Elysee Palace in Paris.
She wore a stunning (wow) long, evening dress using the Lagerfeld formula but with a good slit at the back to show off her legs.
Unfortunately, the coverage and photos didn’t appear on the royal blogs as the Macrons and the Chinese president are not royal.
If Helen doesn’t mind, below is a link with a video of the guest arriving at the state dinner. NOTE: Mme macron appears in the latter part of the video.
I don't know if the French use 'First Lady'. I think she is known as the wife of the President. (La femme du Président).

I've always loved the way Brigitte Macron is dressed. But back to Prince Albert & Co. The first picture is funny. Lucky President Macron's belly is less developed than Prince Albert's.
Charlene's pant suit is too tight around the stomach. I have nothing against wide pants but they need to have the right cut. I am amazed that she got a lot of good comments. CP Victoria didn't had the chance to receive so much good critics for her pant suits with checks. If I remember correctly she has one in light blue with the same checks as Princess Charlene's pink one.
A pity Princess Gabriella's coat is too short, or her dress is too long. I don't like the white tights (on anybody).
Princess Caroline is looking good in her short white coat. She doesn't have to be afraid to show her knees, which are still beautiful.

Again we see kids being criticised. When did that become OK? Or bodyshaming? And isn't if funny that you prize Caroline with the hem on her dress showing, but criticize a child. When did we stop being adults? God grief...

The checked suit is nice, but as I say when Victoria uses her(since someone is very butthurt) I prefer the pieces used separately, but I like this one better. The softer colours doesn't hurt my eyes used as a two piece. I'm also not a fan of shirt in a ladies pant suit. Like a crew cut top better. The kids are adorable. And can please stop criticising children's attire.

Charlene's suit (plaid fabric + overall cut) is not the right type of trouser suit for the occasion (award ceremony). She should have learned by now.
